Madonna of the Rocks
This is a work in progress, I've been painting it for years. It is the second version, the first time I painted it was in the seventies, (at the time I was doing many old master reproductions to learn from the greatest painters) and I lost it and all my art work up to that point and all my belongings in a house fire in October of '78. I was also burned across my back and other places. It was the nightmare of my life. This and the first painting,were and are the size of the original in the London Gallery. It is nearly six foot by four foot. I started the second in the early '80's, and am still working on it. It's been nearly a life project. Thanks, Lou.

He used Legumes, Cheeses, Pastas and Breads to create this art. A good example for showing how art in all forms is a wonderful tool to express yourself.
