We’d like to show the side of the world you don’t normally see on television.
On Edge of Spring
Swirling cyclones somersault
Across appendages swollen…
S W O L L E N…
Pregnant with mysteries
Gathering momentum
As they tumble toward the edge of spring
Anticipating the bursting forth of burgeoning promise
Now comes the powder
Hitching a ride on the shallow respirations
Of winter’s final fleeting gasps
Its powdery silence broken by
The shudder of heaving boughs
C L A S H I N G
Tenaciously struggling against
Winter’s waning grasp
Soon the storm settles
As wild currents give way to dancing ribbons of air
When in one final rally of boughs shusshhhing
They gently touch …then repel
Apart-Together, Apart-Together
In a playful minuet
S H U S S H H Hhhhhhhh
