Architects of a New Dawn

We’d like to show the side of the world you don’t normally see on television.

Carlos Santana earned the distinction of becoming a Kennedy Center honoree for his contribution to the arts.

Carlos was honored alongside icons like Billy Joel and Herbie Hancock. Legendary crooner Harry Belafonte stepped up to the mic to pay tribute, calling Santana a trailblazer among Latinos.

What's with Belafonte? I have not in 45 years, even thought about racism in terms of Carlos. He is a brother, and the color of our skins have never been an issue or even a topic. Hey my friends... people from around the world are not economically or socially equal. That is why Carlos is loved everywhere. He transcends those barriers. Carlos is a unique individual.
