Welcome, Kathleen!
My life is not my life.
I belong to all who have passed through my life.
They have all taken parts of me.
Some with love, some with teaching, and some with experience.
So I am no longer wholly mine.
Those who have gone before me have taken my part,
But they have left me theirs.
I am myself and all I have known,
All I have loved,
All I have taught,
And all I have learned from.
And when I go, I will still live on in those who remain,
May it be only in love.
