My Mom spoke Welsh quite well when I was young, but by the time she died, she had forgotten it. However, during her last days in the hospital, when she was more or less incoherent, she started speaking it again, seemingly fluently.

Are you offering to teach Welsh?
My mom and dad were both Welsh. Dad from Tonnypandy/Pennycraig area, and my Mom from Kidwelly, near Carmarthen. I've been a number of times. I like it, but, between you and me, it is a weird little place.
I tried teaching myself Welsh at one point, but there aren't many Welsh speakers where I live. Which part of Wales are you from? Are you still living there?
