I know lots of people still from the Dixie School District and they all know your Aunt and Uncle because they were a big part of our education.

People still try to move and buy a house in the Terra Linda/Lucas Valley area because the Dixie School district is one of the best public school districts around.

I know she did not take French so she probably took Spanish at TL. She speaks Spanish fluently. She moved to Mexico City after high school to study opera. I went to visit her there on my way to Brazil.

If you ever go to Las Vegas stop by the Bellagio and say hi to her.

I wish every child in the USA could be in a school district like that one was on those days. The teachers cared about their students. When my mom died when I was 14 and at Terra Linda High Sybil Guthrie who I did not even know took me under her wing because her mom who use to be at Miller Creek told her to and we are still good friends now.

Your Aunt had us sing a lot which I liked and it was a good way to learn another language. She was a really good teacher her lessons were lively and she kept her students engaged.
