Hi Leslie,

How are you today?

Only the warm heart and vision of a woman could have evoked such positive thought and emotion from within me when you presented your work to me.

Votre art est beau.

Ciao,
Javier

Hi Leslie,
nice to know you now. Your art is special. I am not the right person to give critics, but lookintg at is, it has an effect. First I thought, they have the same tristess in their face, later I saw, they have nearly always the same faces. Do you like to provoce special feelings?
Or do you see the world such as we are all the same (ONE)?
Thank you that you share your art with us. And thank you that you are in the BIG HUG on 1st of May 2012. Please tell all your friends.
Love to see you on www.bighug.ning.com

Love and hugs

Dear LeslieAnn, how nice of you asking how I'm doing. I'm fine, thank you and I hope you're too. What a wonderful paintwork of yours!! I enjoyed it very much. The fact you use the French language, I can imagine because your work gives me the same feeling as the work of Vincent van Gogh did (as you probably know, he was Dutch like I'm but lived and worked in France). Spiritually I'm not too well because this weekend, actually on saturday, my dear, dear friend Michael Bowen passed (born december 8th 1937). Michael was a psychedelic painter, a beatnik, the father of the First Human Be-In on january 14th 1967 in San Francisco, together with Allen Cohen and Timothy Leary and guide to the Summer of Love, San Francisco in 1967. He was the one who put Daisies in the barrels at the Capitol and showing therewith the real Flower Power. Michael is very special for me because he gave me (and will continue doing so) much energy to work for world Peace. I'll always love him for that. I tell you this because you're a painter too in US and you may probably know him (I can't imagine you don't). Please tell your friends and spend a minute of thinking of him. Love and Peace, Wim de Neef (the Netherlands)

Let me return the compliment by saying that your artwork is incredible - very impressive. That's what I love about this site - that creative people from all over are having a chance to come together and share their artistry with each other, and the world.

Aloha, LeslieAnn Butler,
I am an artist! How the words ring with joy to say it with such abandonment. For years I have sought to say the words, but life had other plans. Finally, in 2004 my artistic child emerged! I, too am in the process of writing stories about life on the Island of Kauai, painting, sculpturing and simply being creative! I enjoyed perusing your works...they are very refreshing and tell stories in and of themselves. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to future sharing. Mahalo nui loa, aloha...Juan

Greetings LeslieAnne,
What beautiful artwork! Thank you for reaching out to me. I tend to get caught up in everyday energies and forget to check in with all the beautiful souls here. Hope you are enjoying life in Portland. My daughters both live there. It is a lovely city.
