This is the third track of my Take It Slow CD, and some video from the nearby Cosumnes nature preserve. It is intended to be relaxing, and not something you have to keep your eyes glued to, although I think this place and its inhabitants are really beautiful.<br />
Some of the video was taken at 60x zoom, using a JVC DA-30, which is a 5 year old consumer grade, wide screen mini DV camera. There was a lot of wind, and it actually caused the tripod to shake some times. You can't get close to these birds without scaring them. I would love to get some professional grade equipment for this kind of work.
