Recently, I have returned to the scene of my biggest feeling of rejection, and like a "prodigal son", I have been accepted. However, at night, I awake usually with those same feelings of being a "victim of the world". I get over them by placing my right hand over my heart and repeating "God's love is right here, right now." And then I add the Ho'ponopono prayer "I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you. I love you". Even if I think I am right, I say this prayer as much as for myself as for my "enemy" , as we are all one anyway. My thinking is changed, and I wake up feeling much better. Then I meditate for awhile.
On the ACIM discussion board here Ron Alexander answered me in a blog called "The New Age Satan". I answered him in that thread.
I'm not disagreeing with you. I've had the small willingness and experienced the miracles. But, the Course makes a different point, one that I had half missed all along. Ron seems to imply, but I might be misreading him, the Course is leading one to a philosophical trap (my words).
The Course says to look past this world, which means looking past the miracles too, and see the real world. I have had more than a small willingness to do this, and I'm not certain what the actual result has been.
If you're interested go to the Satan post and see my response. I really don't know where to go from here.
Hi Steve...No, you cant pull the cover off, but you can ask to see it through different eyes. What has been my experience when I can do that? Miracles. Literally. The hard part is conjuring up the "small willingness", as the Couse says, to actually ask. And when you really really ask to see things differently, you are really really answered. Have a good night..

hi steve - it's been a while since i logged in here - but thought you'd be interested to know that i am now studying welsh - not easy to get the hang of but lots of fun. hope all's well with you?
hi steve - thanks for your message. sorry i can't help with welsh, i know a little but it is only a little. maybe i should put a request out for someone to teach me.
nice to meet you :)
Hi Steven,
Yes, I've done A Course In Miracles ... in Edmonton ... there's a great group there! And, yes, like you, I'm not disciplined in any form of quieting the mind other than doing what I enjoy as much as possible. That usually involves being in communion with others. Seems to fill up my cookie jar! My dog helps too! ; )
Hope you stop by for a visit on your way south!
Hi ... Yes, over the years I've certainly been influenced and inspired by others ..i.e., Paramahansa Yogananda, Gangaji, Eckart Tolle, Isaac Shapiro, A Course In Miracles ... These days, I guess I'm trusting my own knowing and perceiving more than ever ... thanks to all those who inspired and influenced me!
And, yes, "I Know A Day Is Gonna Come" has been sung in churches .. it was my attempt at gospel. It is also part of a children's show I do.
If you visit, I'll share more and would like to hear more about your thoughts ....
No I wish I was. I do study the cell salts though and I could tell Amy needed Ferrum Phos and by golly she did. She has Babesia and it steals ones iron.
