OK I get creating a sustainable future, I get Christian Reformation in a new era of a Non-Religious world.  I get deconstructing our old myths.  But why would we want new myths to replace them.

A myth is by nature an unsubtanciated story.  In other words it is fiction.  Myths are generally created to explain things for which we have no clear explanation. They are  means of trying to offer something the human mind could accept to fill in the blank spaces left by fear and uncertainty. Myth served a function in that, even while being unlikely, they served as place holders in our consciousness until we could figure out the truth.

i think the time for myth is over.  In my opinion we do not need to create more myths.  What is needed now is to step into a new phase of human evolution and begin to seek the truth.  We no longer need fairy stories, or legends about mythical God's.  We need honest dialogue and open discourse about the source of creation and the essential purpose of the lives we lead.

I say enough with myth.  Let us seek nothing but the truth, honestly, directly and with the pure intention of better knowing ourselves, and our creator in a sustaiable non-religious world.

Conflicting messages from ACIM - scroll to bottom to see text message that supports my response to Marianne (who I really like, just as most of ACIM)

Marianne Williamson:

Ron Alexander How can you be present here and now, if you think there is a better place elsewhere? Jesus said that we can have the Kingdom on Earth. How can you beat that or why would you want to?
Bill Thetford used to tell us to tear out those pages - t...hose that denigrate the world, the body and the ego! The Essence of ACIM is Healing Wisdom, however about half the pages of the workbook could be torn out. Jerry jampolsky's Attitudinal Healing Principles are a good example of the Healing Essence of ACIM

Jinny Koehl-gunnar: There is no place to "get". Heaven is here, Heaven is now. Anything else "need not be" (T, Chap 4)

I am thinking that the Essential main message is "We are all innocent loving the best we can, and all attacks are a call for loving help."

Add kindness

Whatever can be done, can be done more effectively when you add kindness to it. Whatever is said, becomes much more convincing when expressed with genuine kindness.
The kindness in just one moment can have a positive impact that lasts for years and years. Kindness is a gift that keeps giving for a lifetime.

Kindness is not complicated, and it comes naturally when you open your heart to life. Kindness brings new light and hope to the darkest of days.

Act with kindness, and you will have no regrets. Kindness is an easy, modest investment that pays generous dividends in the sense of fulfillment it brings.

Kindness dissolves the pain and speeds the healing. When logic and reason say there is no hope, kindness can pave the way forward.

This day will be brighter when you add kindness to it. Choose kindness, and you're truly choosing to live in a better world.

This was on my facebook: Kahu Kahealani Kawaiolamanaloa Satchitananda: “When you meet anyone, remember it is a holy encounter. As you see him you see yourself. As you treat him, you will treat yourself. As you think of him, you will think of yourself. Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose yourself. Whenever two Sons of God meet, they are given another chance at salvation. Do not leave anyone
without giving salvation to him and receiving it yourself. For I am always there with you in remembrance of you.”

Wow! Another wise quote - thank you, Kahu. I am adding this dialogue to ACIM group at Santana's Architects of a new Dawn.com.
