DESCRIPTION:Announcing Gangs of The Kosmos Readings\n\nDoraine Poretz,
  a founding member of the Venice Poetry Workshop at Beyond Baroque and
  poet/teacher of the writing/reading workshop series, Writing Down The
  Music of Your Life, will host and facilitate a new series of poetry a
 nd prose poem readings at the Mystic Journey Bookstore. Every other mo
 nth, on a Sunday afternoon, poets and/or lovers of poetry will read th
 eir own work or the work of others, inspired by the world’s sacred t
 raditions.\nAmanda Foulger, poet and shamanic practitioner, will initi
 ate the series, and read from her new book, Dewpoint. Ms. Foulger is o
 n the faculty of The Foundation for Shamanic Studies and has a broad b
 ackground in spiritual study and practice for over thirty years. Her w
 ork is infused with a sense of the spirit in all things as well as her
  own shamanic connections and experiences. These poems are sure to arr
 est and move you with their beauty and mystery.\n\n\nAfter the reading
