Hello
Testing the waters really. The picture is me playing one of my hurdy gurdies in tudor peasants clothing. Taken at Kentwell Hall in England two years ago. The instrument was made by Helmut Gotschy.
I play other instruments as well.
I'll have a look around.

I have been thinking about one of my West African buddies I went to school with. Have not really heard, nor seen him in about 13 years. He really meant a lot to me, like a brother really. Sorry to not be in touch anymore. However, he shared a lot of the cultural heritage of his homeland, which I am sure as an African American, I retain that heritage in more distal sense as well.

This album from King Sunny Ade, is regarded as a most influential work. From what I have read, this was gigantic impact on the world music scene for which Santana is a part of as well by the early 1980s.

Hail the King of Juju Music, King Sunny Ade....IIf anyone has any information they want to share about this I would appreciate it...

Best, Mike
