I just joined 7-13-09. This site is a wonderful, spiritually refreshing escape to the global MIND SHIFT of peace, love and compassion. On October 25, 2009 in San Francisco at Golden Gate Park there will be a HUGE Peace Convergence at the Woodstock 40th Anniversary Concert. It is FREE. There will also be an eco- village and peace activists sending out global peace messages to the world via live streaming. I saw you wrote that you "...may shift my career to be closer to my passions of promoting peace and creating community". Good for you!! The world needs more peace makers.

Because of a life-changing experience I had, I decided to try to create more peace and human harmony in our world and with that in mind not only do I host and produce a TV program with that in mind but I am in my second term as president of the Tucson Peace Center and am Peace Group Leader of my church and am a member of Democracy for America - Tucson and serve on its Steering Committee.

Hi Marisa, I just finished summer school and this Friday I'm headed back to school for pre-assessment tests for incoming kindergarten kids. I'd still like to make time for coffee and a chat one day, perhaps a Saturday. I met Nancy Red Star via this site. She is from New Mexico but will be speaking at a conference in Santa Clara in September. I would like to hear her talk. She is an author who researches ancient Native American prophecies.
