    Hi Erin,

What a great idea! I hope you'll post a picture of the beaded Medicine Wheel earring once you make it. Glad the Medicine Wheel image inspired you ~ that's the intent of everything on this site, eh? :-)

    Blessings,
    Amara

Erin, thank you for the comment on the Empty Table story in my blog. That piece evolved from two different interactions with two different female friends. They helped me create a visible symbol for staying open to what life has to offer, and in doing so reminded me once again how valuable are my friendships with women.
    Blessings to you,
    Charly

    Hi Dear Erin,

Thanks for your brilliant addition to my Friday the 13th article! I didn't know there was a 13th zodiacal sign. Ophiucus, huh? Well, seeing as the snake is the symbol of transformation, it's time to add her back in!

Actually, the upcoming galactic alignment heralds our entrance into a higher reality; it's just the getting there, this global rebirth process, that's so awkward and strange, as we've not birthed a planet en masse before :-) This excerpt from my March newsletter may be of interest:

Choice Point 2012: Armageddon or Eden? Gregg Braden offers a compelling perspective in his new book Fractal Time: The Secret of 2012 and a New World Age. Artist and author Meryl Ann Butler (who created the cover art that graces my trio of What Shines eBooks) recently interviewed Gregg in Los Angeles. He demystifies 2012 by explaining it's not the end of the world, only the end of a world age, or time cycle … but because these cycles are vast, it's a new experience for everyone alive today. The goosebump factor: on December 21, 2012, Earth will be perfectly aligned with the galactic center for the first time in over 5000 years — and attuned to the source energy of the Milky Way. Gregg believes this heralds "a rare opportunity to come together as a family on this planet, and to learn from the mistakes of past civilizations."

    It's our cosmic reset button.

    Thank you Erin!

Difficulties will pass as we have understood the path to develop further. Sometimes the "hard times" can get the people to see more, than they usually do and to join together. Giving the love and feeling good can always help, even if everything does not seam to go "by the plan". Whenever experiencing some feeling that does not work for the best I just start to deal with it, until it is resolved. So I feel happy again. The Sun shines all the time:-), sometimes just to the other side of the Earth or upon the clouds. But it is good to know, that it shines all the time.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Erin,

As you see, my dear friend, you've been giving much more. I've got here just one rose for you. Thank you so much for the poem.

    Hey Erin,

Looks like you migrated to the great NW. I was in Portland last summer a few days; seems like the life was much simpler.

Thanks for the comment. Looks like one has to get close to death in whatever form to appreciate life.

You have lovely pix. I especially like the old dog.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Whoops I have not even read the Shack yet or picked a copy up. I sort of forgot about the whole thing some how. How did you like it? I need to get with the coffee myself.. I have not been to this site lately. I have been out and about more lately and even ventured into the big city last week for fun.

I had a yoga teacher who told us to do it with joy. Today's class seemed even more joyous then usual. I do love yoga and going to class. I have gone to class 23 times since March 2 and I dedicated my practice to someone else's health and they seem to be doing well! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

    Hey Erin,

Yes, that's the one. I just saw "The Honeymooners" with Cedric the Entertainer and Mike Epps' take on the Gleason's hit series, where there is "Iggy" who they tie up a lot of money on. Check the resemblence! HA!

Hi Erin, How is Medford these days? My mom moved up there for awhile before she moved to Eugene. I am down here in LA. I spent a summer week up in Oregon some years back and loved it, Very green. Bob Fetherolf

    Scout Indian Prayer

Morning Star wake us, filled with joy.
To new days of growing to man from boy
Sun, with yow power, give us light.
That we can tell wrong and do what is right.
South Wind, we ask, in your gentle way.
Blow us the willingness of obey.
North Wind, we ask, live up to thy name.
Send us the strength to always be game.
East Wind, we ask, with your breath so snappy.
Fill us with knowledge of how to be happy.
West Wind, we ask, blow all that is fair.
To us, that we may always be square.
Moon, that fills the night with red light.
Guard us well while we sleep in the night.
Akela, please guide us in every way.
We'll follow your trail in work or play.

I have not been coming here lately and when I did some how missed seeing your comments. We will have to meet sometime soon! I did not know you lived close by. I use to work for a land scrapper in Kent Woodlands and we use to drive over and buy lots of Annie's Annuals. I even made it as far as San Rafael yesterday but am often happy to just hang out out West here.. we should try to get together before I leave for Germany in June. I am getting so excited about the trip. Off to go out and play in my garden after applying some essential oils for protection. Tickville out here but that will never stop me from gardening and enjoying life.
  • Marinspin

I never did get or read the Shack yet.. I am a bit slow..
  • Marinspin

That looks heavenly. I am dealing with an over abundance of weeds at the moment and some wild looking lavender and a passionflower vine with fruit on it also going kind of wild. I was just having a nice afternoon in the garden until my landlord started weed whacking in his. Noise and gas fumes not a good thing Martha Stewart.. off to try and deal with a laundry avalanche before I get overly buried. Weed whackers should be out lawed and the people who use them locked up for crimes against nature : - ) If I knew how to use my digital camera I would post some garden pics.
  • Marinspin

The Bay Area has certainly got its pluses. I keep returning. Once you live here it gets hard to live anywhere else. I am like a homing pigeon. I was born here and keep coming back and now rarely leave.
  • Marinspin

Do let me know when you will be around these parts. The weed whacking is still happening - yikes!

How are you? I am glad I am finally in Germany. It took a lot of energy to get here. Many beautiful hiking trails and gardens in the town I am in. I went on a long hike tonight and the sunset was around 9 ish very late.

Are you saying over 1000 friends for Jen? I'm sure it will be dealt with---but dang a 1000, lol.
Now, if this wasn't what you meant, you must forgive me---I think my brain is just about to crash. ;-)

Well, thank you, Erin, I thought I had offended alot of crones since I my post sat there so long without a reply. It is a big relief to have somebody I respect, like yourself, to see the humor. You know I did not connect the Southern "good ol' bubba with my grandmother, which we pronounced as "Booba". She was a schoolteacher and a wonderful wife of "Pad", who she loved dearly as she loved me. Thanks again for your sweet feedback, ron

    Hi Erin,
Thank you for the amazing gift from your garden, this photo really touched my heart! And here I've got just another rose for you, from my garden (:-))

  • Silja Saareoks-Kaldre

Here's one photo I caught just unexpectedly about the year ago. Weddings can really be great. One week ago there were the people from the wedding by the road when we went to town. And there, where I parked the car was the next one also bride's and the grooms car. Yes, there really is the magic in this moment.

This is one of the favorites in my garden. While working as a rose gardener there ware some "Caramella" roses, that carried some light flowers, this one has only the light flowers. That's why I bought it to myself. With best wishes, -Silja
