"Venture Capital' is not just for for-profit enterprises.
In our National Capital region, "Venture Capital" model has been successfully demonstrated in a non-profit sector by philanthropist Mario Morino.
His initiatve, Venture Philanthropy Partners (VPP) rasied $30 Million focus on 2 key initiatives at NOVA-DC-MD community
(1) support internet entrepreneurs and
(2) support disadvantaged kids in urban environments here.
Respect for knowledge ? .
PS: VPP ,a well-documented success story. In fact, is the 'success model" for my new Facebook group, KEPPS.
When these films are aired, if possible, please let the viewers know that these films are available for broadcast on Public Access TV in the USA, Canada and anywhere else in the world. To have them broadcast local people can call their local public access TV station and request they be downloaded from PEGMedia.org and broadcast.
