This Mother Teresa's quote is really "If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten we belong to each other." My apology, sure you did not take it personally. Enjoy your writing, thanks, Ron
Hi Farida, you left me with a question about whether I participated in "love-ins". Well, I think that during those times I was still living in the conservative South.
However, I had a lot of good times as a sailing captain in the Caribbean. Also, when in California, I participated tangentially with the Tantric (Osho) folks. I could never let myself go as some of them did, as I saw alot of sexual addictions there. However, I really enjoyed Spirit dancing and other movement workshops with them.
Unfortunately, in my only marriage, I fell in lust rather than in love, and was really taken in by a "trophy bride"( younger with a "perfect body, looks," etc) That was in 2002, and finally I am divorcing her, after being seperated for four years.
She is not the type to understand Mother Teresa's quote, as she describes herself as a "born-again Christian." One of her complaints about me, is that I am "liberal theologist", although she just would say 'Ron is not really a Christian", And that is the reason she gave for leaving all her husbands (I was the fifth), If she is a Christian, she pays no attention to the commandment "Do not steal"!
What about you, Farida, were you in the "love-ins"? and why do you have two of my favorite places listed as residences - Boulder and Vancouver? Do you know a Betsy doing therapeutic touch in Boulder?
