I have another event you might like... take a look at www.unifyearth.com I produce global events, you can see something about it on my page here on Architects...
I think this ning platform that we use here is available in multiple languages... you could start one for not much money in german and grow it like we did this site... perhaps use our site as an example... but we just started it up and it grew naturally... it's not difficult go to www.ning.com
