A family tribe of whales was roaming happily in their home ocean in the safe cove of Paradise Inches, far from the threat of man--what they called "Land Monsters." There were seven families in their tribe, which seven children in each. There were seven elders left on Earth and six newborns and one huge pregnant mother whale, named Ocean Star, waiting to give birth to her seventh child.
So the seven elders and the seven husbands and the seven wives of the tribe counseled together to offer ideas in naming Ocean Star's light within. Water Eagle, Wave One, Pride of Paradise...all good names were offered, suggesting the highest of nobility and respect to the coming baby.
A wise dolphin named Calm Tide came unto the council and noticing their dilemma, suggested the name Nomad and swam home. The affluent plankton-hoarding whales in the council gasped, while the more free floating whales in the council noticed that Ocean Star's light within was glowing bright at the suggestion. Nomad would be this child's name.
On the seventh day of the seventh moon at the seventh hour of the sunrise...the seventh child... Nomad was born. The dawn light came streaming down like crystal pillars at the first peek of the rising sun...and a rainbow shined throughout the ocean. All the whales and all the other animals of the ocean rejoiced on the birth of this new day. Nomad started singing and all the beings of the ocean sent their love to this special baby whale.
Nomad grew fast and learned quickly the ways of the tribe. He always asked to hear stories from the elders about the old ways and their scattered ancestors far from their comfortable, safe cove of Paradise Inches. They answered his questions to the best of their knowledge, but only four of the elders could even remember what it was like before the days of whaling boats and Land Monsters, before they settled into the safe cove of Paradise Inches, and for them it was an old, sad memory. Nomad's energy gave them joy-- thought they were a bit concerned about him getting the idea of traveling far from home into a world filled with Land Monsters but they knew that whatever was meant to be would whaleifest itself in time--so they all went on with their lives as usual.
Nomad would try to talk to his brothers and sisters about what could be out there, but many of them seemed content to stare blankly at their private coral reef walls and let the world pass by...but Nomad's tail was growing very eager to push water and ride some waves to the other parts of the world. So he left some abalone shell gifts for his family and set out into the great wide ocean alone one night...a little excited, and a lot clueless.

The Adventures Of Nomad

So alone he drifted out into the sea of the unknown, his mind filled with the familiar, his intuition foretelling the experience soon to change his perception forever. No friends, no family, just the open current of existence to ride until the tides pulled him home.
Early the next morning of his journey, the colors were brought to life in the vibrant red, gold and green of fall. Colors of all life reflected in the waters he traveled. Over the underwater mountains and hills, across the great wide open plains of seaweed and kelp, and through the caverns of the conscious and the unconscious, he journeyed swiftly. He didn't meditate on the dangers of the Land Monsters and whaling ships, so these potential problems had no power over him. He simply enjoyed the beauty in every living being he was blessed enough to pass by...all the while circulating the energy and love of all creation that he passed on his way. Everywhere he went, he met brothers and sisters, elders and youth of his scattered family. He wondered "In what glorious place could we all be together as one united family again, safe and free from the mistaken ones who would divide us?"
He kept the pearl of hope alive and thriving in his heart and prayed for all, even the Land Monsters. He journeyed through the mammoth glaciers of indecision, across the desert bays of longing and pain...all the while fine tuning his ability to let Spirit guide him and be awakened completely in every moment. He took some time inside of himself to really look around at how things were progressing, and he was pleased with what he saw.
After four days of traveling, he arrived on the other side of the ocean. Miracles started whaleifesting on a regular basis and he realized that the ancient magic that the elders used to speak of in whale tales had all but been extinguished by the changing ocean. Whales and dolphins and sea lions of all colors of the rainbow congregated on this other side of the ocean. Around every clam shell and within every oyster, he found a new pearl of knowledge glowing. And he noticed that things so far from home were actually quite similar if he simply looked with a child's eyes. With a child's eyes he cried out of loneliness in this new place, for he missed all of his relations back in Paradise Inches and wished they could all be with him...they sent their love to him as well and they wished to the Guide Light that he would return home safely in the proper season. They were always together in prayers.
Jay, the bluejay was a birdsaint indeed
as he'd never let waste even one little seed
He'd look for what's left and make use of it swift!
and always wipe his bum with leaves!
Always share with those in need,
and show them how sharing stops greed,
while munching on wasted birdseed!

Jay would sing to the Doves and the Eagles and Bugs
who would fly in the fresh air with him
And he'd sing to the Fishes
his heart's prayers and wishes
Who all in the water would swim...
And they'd all sing right back…

Who all in the water would swim...
And they'd all sing right back to him
And the Dolphin sure had a grin!
What a world water held within!

Now this bluejay spent time in the forest
Where he had many small furry friends
And they'd jump and they'd play
and rejoice when he'd say
"C'mon you can fly on my wings
And I'll show you a good many things
We'll go drink from the healing springs
We'll be back in time for figs
So leave your worries by the twigs
and climb aboard and we'll go fly
the funky skydance jig!"

And he'd fly them all
one by one by one
to the place where the cleanest of waters run
and they'd drink together
in peace and love
and listen to the Morning Dove
And thank each other for the fun
And smile until the setting sun
And sing for all the stars to come
And shine until the Rising Sun
Called Jay, the Bluejay
to get up at Dawn

"Get up Jay, Jay, get up I say
I come bringing a bright new day"
So don't be lazy,
Don't delay
I want to see your smile today,
You shine like a rainbow in every way
How 'bout you plant some (new) seeds
and I'll call the rain
and then kiss the new seeds
with some sunshine again
and the breeze of the freshest air
soon will blow in
And give breath to the tiny young
sprouts a growin'
So, whadya say Mr. Jay, the Bluejay?
Wanna plant some new seeds
on this perfect new day?
If you don't, I don't mind
but if you do, don't delay!"

"Well sure I would love to
plant some new seeds today!
I will not be lazy!"
peeped Jay, the Bluejay
and he hopped from his nest
to the place he liked best
and he planted the seeds
with care for the Sun's quest
And he called to the sun
"Now this is the test
Can you really bring rain?
Mr. Sun do your best."
And Mr. Sun called the Raincloud Germaine
who gladly responded with rivers of rain
and the soil drank water
until the sun came
and shined on the sprouting young seeds agrowin'

We thank you for
the Love you gave
to plant us today
And to the sun
and the rain
and the fresh air we say
"Thank you,
for you all truly made our day!
And thank you too
She painted in her mind that if she could cross the widest oceans, traverse the driest deserts, and climb the highest mountains, surely she would be able to find the Sacred Pearl.

So she did, she carried the Sacred Pearl (in her heart) to every corner of the four directions. Through the forests she skipped, across the widest oceans she swam, over the driest deserts she trudged, upon the highest mountains she climbed - around and around until she became dizzy with wonder - had she missed it - had she passed it by? In her heart the Sacred Pearl was glowing brighter every day, yet her eyes perceived only the darkness of her folly. And she looked up at the perfect twinkling stars with a little sadness and loneliness.

She was alone on the mountaintop and the stars within her eyes welled up and rained on the sacred ground. The Divine Mother appeared as the butterfly whispering in her lonely ear. "Let go" was all she said...and in an instant that was less than an instant, Fijit, The Restless Turtle was left behind...and the unnameable, Eternal Sacred Pearl was floating away from the colorful and mosaic shell on the mountaintop. She experienced more colors, more sounds, more beings and more places than she had ever dreamed possible on her fantastic voyage.

She soon had the roller coaster tummy feeling of reeling back in. She looked up at the perfect twinkling stars...and they felt perfect. Fijit was no longer restless. She walked down the ascended mountain with the Sacred Pearl awakened in her heart to share with her family...they rejoiced upon her returning. She hugged the ones she left behind... and oh, what a story she had to tell, Fijit the Restless turtle!Ocean Of The Dolphintag:architectsofanewdawn.ning.com,2009-01-28:2227378:BlogPost:194932009-01-28T20:43:08.000ZScott Tweediehttps://architectsofanewdawn.ning.com/profile/ScottTweedie

Her family, the pilots of the rainbow colored ship telepathically knew the Earth was now suited for aquatic life. They brought all kinds of different water creatures to Earth to live. All the beings who took their new home in the Ocean Of The Dolphin would make a sacred pilgrimage to the cave...where each of them in time would realize that they too could become anything they wanted...and thanks to the Earth's first dolphin, we have a home to learn this. The Music Inside*tag:architectsofanewdawn.ning.com,2009-01-28:2227378:BlogPost:194892009-01-28T20:41:54.000ZScott Tweediehttps://architectsofanewdawn.ning.com/profile/ScottTweedie

A young boy awoke in a soft meadow of lilacs and hyacinth where the gentle murmur of fluttering butterflies and bumble bees would lull his developing senses into a peace serene. Opening his eyes to his
favorite place on earth, half in dream and half awake, listening to the gurgle of a crystal clear stream, always fresh and new, yet still the same-he heard a song. Clearly he heard it, though he knew it was
of another place-more beautiful than his dreams-or even the song of his favorite meadow-it was of another place...another place entirely...yet somehow familiar...

The passing sound of a plane overhead brought his attention back to the meadow-and the celestial song, like calm water on a full moon, rippling from a breeze, faded back to glass-and he forgot it for a
time. A hummingbird flew up to his nose and he giggled as a butterfly chased a dragonfly around a tree. Happy he was to be alive.

Day after day he would return to his sacred shrine in the woods--graced only by his own bare or sandaled feet--or that of deer, rabbits, raccoons, squirrels and all four legged creatures--all of which were his friends. He learned to talk to them with his heart by standing gently and singing a soft song or just smiling. Even the wind and the clouds responded in kind to his heartfelt and pure offerings.
Sometimes a gentle rain would cool him when it was the hottest in summer, and the dewdrops would twinkle like stars on the tall grass.

He knew the exact day the caterpillars would emerge from their chrysalises. He also knew when a shooting star was about to fly like an angel across the night sky and he always made a wish for his
friends at the meadow when he saw it, that they would always have a safe, happy home to play with one another. He always listened to the chorus of the sundown frogs in a nearby marsh on his way home, as he watched all the stars come out...and the night owls hoot.

Gently, like sun on a flower in the morning, his mother would wake him for school. Together they would say a morning prayer on the swinging bench by the birdbath in their backyard and then share some muffins or toast and jam or honey, and off to school he went. He walked and skipped and hopped through farm fields and over streams and through the woods, always a slightly different route, to the little community schoolhouse by the river, where he learned what school was to him, a place to encourage his imagination and meet friends. His teacher was young and kind and the rest of the students were all friendly toward him. Sometimes they would go outside in the fresh air by the river and play. He liked this the most.

One day, while he was walking home after school, winding along the river path, he heard the celestial song again, and it stayed in his mind throughout the day. When he got to his favorite meadow, he could
sense that all of his creature friends could hear it to. They came even closer to him as if they wanted to be nearer to the music coming from inside of him. His smile was soft and round the whole day. He
kicked back in the tall grass and listened to the music as the sun went down.

As the night grew upon him and the meadow--he saw lights in the sky that danced to the music he was hearing deep inside of him...a green flash here, a blue streak there, a white pulse on the horizon—a rainbow out of the corner of his eye--and on throughout the night. Things he had never seen--or at least this vividly--were showing themselves, like the love of distant family members--and to the celestial music, they danced.

He awoke just before dawn to a brilliant golden light just above him...a crystal flute floated down from the light like a feather into his hands. He played a few notes and the whole meadow danced as one--all greeting the morning sun in one accord. The chrysalises all opened and the butterflies stepped onto the wind to dance. The dragonflies and hummingbirds greeted their arrival. Even a morning star shot across the sky...but they were all too busy rejoicing and dancing and greeting the morning to notice--the boy's song brought them so much joy. He soon ran home to tell his mom the good news. The Bunny Who Drank Vegetable Juicetag:architectsofanewdawn.ning.com,2009-01-28:2227378:BlogPost:194832009-01-28T20:40:16.000ZScott Tweediehttps://architectsofanewdawn.ning.com/profile/ScottTweedie

The old school house at the base of a giant redwood tree is where we
begin the story...

One day while all the bunnies were hard at work at their little
mushroom desks, writing poetry and stories, a lesson in life popped
out of the air (but not quite as loud as something you'd hear).
Anyway, Furry Teacher Badger was wandering around the classtree,
peeking over the eager and creative bunnies' shoulders and saw that
one of the more timid little bunnies had been writing ungrammatical
and unstructured words--words which were painted very colorfully and
beautifully...like the vibrant forest, right outside of the class
tree. But the Furry Teacher Badger thought hastily to tell the
creative and timid little bunny a criticism that might influence him
to be "more like the rest of them." So the Furry Teacher Badger said
while peeking over the little bunny's shoulder reading:
"Birds fly the ocean blue
We can walk in the sky too
This tree may jump to paper, boo
And hoo I cry from within you?"

"What are these words trying to say?" asked Furry Teacher Badger.
"They make no sense to me. Surely, you must have made a mistake in
your writing." And the timid little bunny looked down at his square
little window poem and it didn't look like the window of his enchanted
forest imagination anymore--it looked like a squooshed piece of tree
skin with nonsense scribble on it...but only for one moment. Because,
at the very next moment, a compassionate bunny (in fact The Bunny Who
Drank Vegetable Juice) realized the lesson was popping out of the air
and into the story. And he was moved to speak up...he said

"Mistakes that we make
build the bridges of thought.
So how can we cross them
if we learn that they're not?
We will fall in the river
if we listen to you.
For you're stealing the pieces
from under our shoe."

And he went over and hugged the timid and creative little bunny, who
was already grinning ear to floppy ear, flying out the window with
hummingbird, riding on the magic words that were spoken on his behalf.
Now Furry Teacher Badger wasn't a genius, but he knew when truth had
stung him on the forehead. It was obvious that Furry Teacher Badger
was once an innocent and creative youth like the bunnies and had been
reprimanded as an easy scapegoat just as the little timid bunny was.
He remembered way back in his spiral memory to when he was but a wee
badger in school...and something he felt he had written and was a
treasure was turned to sand by the harsh and hasty judgement of a
jealous teacher...and he was humbled by that popping noise that's only
heard in words in this story. And as this lesson was ballooning in far
too many ways to achieve a balance of peace, The Bunny Who Drank
Vegetable Juice let the air out of the overstretched balloon and went
over to Furry Teacher Badger and gave him a big hug too... everyone
sighed a big sigh of relief. They all hopped outside of the classtree
and into the fresh air and drank vegetable juice together near a
waterfall...and they sang happy songs together until it was time to go
home.The Dragonfly Of The Crystal Mountainstag:architectsofanewdawn.ning.com,2009-01-28:2227378:BlogPost:194792009-01-28T20:38:21.000ZScott Tweediehttps://architectsofanewdawn.ning.com/profile/ScottTweedie

Once there lived a dragonfly of the clan of the crystal mountains- a mountain range topped with opalescent crystals.
All the mountains were well traveled--except the highest of all--Prism Mountain--a mount-ain topped with a crystal so huge,
that the legend told about it, said it was a shooting star that fell to the top of the mountain.
During the day, as the sun would shine through the diamond-like crystal, swirls of rainbows would cover
the landscape from dawn to dusk. At night, as the moon would shine through--
it was as if there were diamond-like stars all over the land...dotting the landscape.

Right below the crystal, on the east side of Prism Mountain,
a beautiful waterfall poured out healing water that filled a huge waterpool at the base of it,
which in turn flowed into the river, and in kind, into every stream and creek throughout the land.
This water was affectionately known as The Gift.

At the waterpool, all the creatures of the land would gather each day at dawn to make their prayer wishes.
..as the legend said, every good prayer wish would come true as you would drink the water and make your wish.

One day a dragonfly of the clan of the crystal mountains made a prayer wish from
The Gift "Thank you, Creator of the Great Gift, for all you have done for my people.
My prayer is that we learn to always love one another, and learn the meaning of true harmony."

At that very moment-- A flash came from the sky, into the crystal, and down into the water- pool
at the base of Prism Mountain.

The face of the most beautiful woman anyone present had ever seen appeared in the water--she said:
"Your prayer is felt young one.
You have my blessing to journey to the Crystal of Prism Mountain and find the answer you are seeking.
You may go whenever you wish."

Every creature at the waterpool held council together to decide if he should go,
though no dragonfly had ever flown as high as Prism Mountain. They decided that he should go if he wanted to try.
"I will leave now," said the dragonfly. And they all wished him well.

He flew up and up and up and all of a sudden began singing a song loud unto the sky-
-he felt exhilerated at first--but then began to feel shame, as he felt that his ego was making him stray on his journey...
by feeling that he alone had created the song. What he didn't know was that down below--at the waterpool--
all the creatures were singing one song together--the first natural symphony in Harmony.

Just as a tear fell from his eye--down, down, down and landed in the waterpool below,
the Great Woman's face appeared again inside the crystal as he was coming nearer to it.

She sang: "Brave dragonfly, you don't need to prove anything to receive the answer to your prayer,
look and listen carefully below, your family sings the song you have been given--together--
the one that will keep you at peace with one another, the one that will bring lasting harmony.
I'm with you--here--there and everywhere. You need not fly high to impress them or to fulfill your
wish--it is granted. Keep our song in your heart."

The dragonfly thanked her but soon realized his wings were so tired that he might not make it back.
The Great Woman read his thoughts and instantly the crystal was transformed into a giant Crystal Dragonfly,
which flew to him to carry him home.

The dragonfly awoke just before dawn the next day thinking, "What a wonderful dream I had..."
and together the whole valley greeted the sun with singing--in harmony...

And high up in the clouds was the face of the Great Woman in the Crystal, crying the River Gift, with a smile on her face.*
