Spiritual Sister

Now why do I need to write about something that has been addressed a hundred times before? Well, this time it is personal and unique to me. This time it has touched home in a profound way and I simply must share it.

I had the privilege of knowing a most caring, kind, generous, spiritual woman and she was my best friend and soul journeyer. My experiences with her in the last weeks of her life will forever be imprinted on my soul.

As a Therapist and Intuitive Life Consultant… Continue

Healing Wisdom 02 May - Dealing with Fear

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

~ Franklin D. Roosevelt

"Fear is, I believe, a most effective tool in destroying the soul of an individual - and the soul of a people"

~Anwar el-Sadat

We are constantly barraged with stories that feed on our fears. There are two types of fear: healthy fear and unhealthy fear. Healthy fear is necessary when there is a real danger because it leads to…

Living in Our Right Brain is The Key to Bliss

If you haven't watched Jill Bolte Taylor's amazing presentation on TED.......I feel it's one of the most interesting, profound, relevant and important speeches i have ever seen. I know we're all super busy but I believe this will be more than worth your time. It's about 18 minutes, but is the key to being happy. Truly happy ALL THE TIME. I think it's life changing stuff.

It's based on her book My Stroke of Insight.

~How much--is enough?~

How do we know how much is enough?

When we ask for protection to surround us, or when we ask for angels to guide us and protect us----how do we know that enough of them are there?

Do they take turns, or do they flip a coin, what?

I pray a lot, it's part of my daily routine.

I pray in the shower, some of my best praying takes place there, although I wonder how much of it works, when at the same time, I'm shaving my legs and end up with a bunch of nicks---

Or when… Continue

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

a time to be born and a time to die,

a time to plant and a time to uproot,a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down and a time to build,a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw… Continue

This grid came to birth whilst following a home course with the Holy Grail Cards of Janosh Art. In the third phase we were asked to make contact via our emotions with our disappointments and anger during this life. The concentration was on the Solar Plexus Chakra. The card that helped me to get deep by these emotions was The Victim with the Emotion… Continue

Beltane Benevolence

Today my favorite bank teller said, "Oh, it's the first of May ~ that's called May Day, isn't it?" And I had a perfect opening in which to explain to two intrigued bank employees (the teller next to him was all ears, too!) that the secular version of these holy days leaves a lot out.

May 1st is Beltane: a time for celebrating the beauty and sanctity of all… Continue

Quote Of The Day By Lynn Fishman

Imagination is key.

The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination. Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.

As a man I have seen far to many women suffer abuse at the hands of men.

From this point on Let No Man Raise His Hand in Anger , Let No Man Raise His Hand in Hate , Let No Man Raise His Hand in Conflict for to do so diminishes the Human Spirit.

Women are our greatest treasure. They bring life into the world. They nurture our spirits and nourish our souls yet far too many of them suffer at the hands of men. What is wrong with us as a society that in the 21st century we… Continue
