Breaking waves, whisperings of grasses, the shimmering of leaves

WORD FOR THE DAY
Friday, Jul. 10(gratefulness.org)

The world is holy. We are holy.
All life is holy. Daily prayers
are delivered on the lips

the whisperings of grasses,
the shimmering of leaves.

An Invitation to consider the idea of 'normal' and 'change'

I wanted to invite all of you to consider a grand experiment of MYTHIC proportions. It relates to the collective creation of a global mythology. Be Still thy Soul

Be still thy soul,

be still thy soul.

Relinquish this hold:

make thee again whole.

Be still thy mind.

Let thee unwind.

Harvest the gold

that’s planted round you

strand by strand;

you’ll be somewhat more certain;

carve out your role and reach for the heaven.

All you can dream,

what you can be,

know that the sky will deliver

Bestir thy heart

With journeys far,

and rivers of stars

bestow their love

on all… Continue

The Reappearance of Mythical Dragons ... Portal to 'Changing Normal'

Mythical dragons appear,

During this renewed era of 'once upon a time',

As we realize a collectively conscious global culture.

"Tell me about the Dragons." (says Andrew)

Vic says ...

"Ahhh yes: The Dragons.

They will begin to appear in the sky;

Fireballs of hell will be one's first impression… Continue

Weekly TIdbit: Making Changes

The culture and family influences we are born into and grow up with have a powerful hold. No matter how much exposure we have to other experiences or beliefs on a conscious level, unless we reach into where the original program lives in the subconscious mind and make updates, that old program stays pretty much the same. Which is why positive affirmations or cognitive restructuring techniques are often not as effective as we would like them to be. It is estimated that 85-95% of our behavior is… Continue

A Kinder, Gentler Approach: "The Next Evolution" by Jack Reed

Like many people, I was shocked by the Zeitgeist movie and have been immersed in researching the state of the world, especially its economy, ever since. I was happy to discover that the Venus Project is the solution recommended by the Zeigeist Movement. Although I found Jacque Fresco's futuristic designs… Continue

Daily Quote By Lynn Fishman

LET WHAT IS ON THE INSIDE COME OUT.

There are no prescriptive solutions, no grand designs for grand problems. Life's solutions lie in the minute particulars involving more and more individual people daring to create their own life and art, daring to listen to the voice within their deepest, original nature, and deeper still, the voice within the earth.

THE CHALLENGE IS FINDING THE VOICE.

"The whole course of human history may depend on a change of heart in one solitary and even humble individual - for it is in the solitary mind and soul of the individual that the battle between good and evil is waged and ultimately won or lost."

Heroes Come In Different Forms

My kitchen floor was full of muddy footprints. At around five-thirty that afternoon, I'd come in from one of the saddest moments of my adult life: burying my best friend – a Maine Coon feline wonder names Lightning -- out in a little flower garden next to the house. In fact, if you were to look through my kitchen window, you could see his grave clearly.

Actually, Lightning came into this world back in 1998 -- and it certainly wasn’t an easy entrance! As a matter of fact, while he was… Continue

Aung San Suu Kyi, nightingale of Love! - Poetry by Elisabetta Errani Emaldi

Aung San Suu Kyi,

nightingale of Love!

Mother of peace who weeps bitter tears

because of the insanity

that inhabits the gilded palaces of power.

White dove in which the warriors of injustice

stole the hope of flying

on the meadows of freedom.

To you I sing a song of love!

To you I play the notes of Liberty!

To you I give the Triumph!

Nightingale of love,

your… Continue
