    Hi Jeanette,

I Love your page! And I have great respect for all the things you're doing.
All causes I care for as well.
How did you get the link of Care2 on this page? I tried, but unfortunately failed.

    Love and warm regards,
    Claudia.

Jeanette you have a beautiful page. I have been very slow to put any personality to mine. I promised a couple of others already I would put a photo up. I don't like photographs of myself is one reason I have hesitated. You have motivated my to update next week (how's that for procrastination). I am a part time artist and part time massage therapist going through a lot of changes and searching for a meaningful way to move further out into the world. I did some soul searching last night and asked myself what I was looking for - the answer came pretty quickly - I want to be part of an active community of people willing to take chances and believe in success. Willing to believe in themselves and everyone else and the possibility of positive change. Willing to be a child and see the joy and wonder in the world that balances the sorrow and despair. Willing to follow their heart and not just the rules. Of course in looking for that outside me, I am looking for that in myself first. Happily, I am finding some of those people at this site. By the way, I haven't read all the articles on your site yet, but I love the photo "Keep your coins, I want change".

From my heart to yours - Beverly

I would like to offer Veda and Jeanette an opportunity to start over, to try and understand the nature of their misunderstanding. This community is going to have more misunderstandings, and quitting the site is not going to teach any of us how to weave a new cooperation into the world.

    Veda, please reconsider leaving,

Jeanette, please consider what you may be able to do to establish a connection with Veda based on the common love of animals you both still share.
  • Marc

    Jeanette,
I looked at the photo again and did not see any severed heads. Perhaps I missed something or perhaps it was the painting on the urn beside her which triggered your concern. In addition Veda appears to be leaning on a wooden sculpture and I now she responded that the tusks on it were carved an painted. Perhaps her transgressions were not as deep as you feared. I hope there is still some common ground between you and that perhaps this was a misunderstanding that can be rectified. In any case it is between the two of you. You both have my hope and compassion in this misunderstanding....

    Be well.

    Hi Jeanette,

I tried to put a link of Care2 on my page, according to your explanation. It didn't work. I tried it with the explanation on the Care2 site self. It didn't work. So now I just took the easiest way :-) I'm just not a wizz-kid.
Well all that matters is, people can now link to the Care2 site.

I just read your comment on Beverly's page. I know what you mean and I sure know what you feel when you're saying: "I struggle with the reality of what's happening to wildlife and their habitat." I feel that struggle too and sometimes it just hurts too much. Sometimes it makes me desperate and I get distressed and depressed. But than I remember there are still so many beautiful things left. And Mother Earth and its creatures need us to speak up for them, to fight for them.
With my photos I want people to see how beautiful animals are, all animals. And how beautiful nature is. This is my way of contributing.

Good to know we are both 'fighting' for the same things.

    Love and warm regards,
    Claudia.

Jeanette - I took a closer look at your pages and am very inspired by your work. I saw the pictures of Red and was struck by how closely he resembled my dog, Fred. Fred showed up in my yard about 8 years ago starving, sick, and with practically no hair. My husband was afraid of him, but my daughter and I slowly fed him and got his trust enough to take him to the vet. He is an angel and I learned so much from him as he very slowly healed emotionally. I'll put a picture of him online for you to see - he's big and red, although now he has quite a bit of gray. I live near quite a bit of greenspace that houses a small wildlife rescue shelter. You've got me thinking what I might be able to do utilizing the art talent I have to bring more attention to my local area. Guess the best place to start is research.

    to creative growth - Beverly

    hi you!

i live in the middle of nowhere indeed! no neighbours, just horses, cows, sheep, frogs, ....
and my plan is to share this beauty to people who wanna stay on the terrace, in tents or just under trees. very nice to sleep there by the way...
guess i call it something like "project off road".
i´ve built up a small but very high quality music studio here as well to give proper and upcoming musicians space to come together and go with the flow.
interested and young people are welcome too!
i´m able to calm down people just with this raw nature around and in combination with workshops i wanna do here as well, for example reading, writing, poetry, gardening, meditation, chat groups, yoga, karate, whatever you wanna do........and as well......music! :)
walking around the nature, recording animals and other nature sounds, cut this data into samples and make something new out of it. play guitar, sing, make funny sounds and bring them in as well. if you like you can add beats or synthie sounds or other ideas or less than that. you can stay with the pure nature sounds you recorded and take them with you wherever you wanna go.
finally: there are endless possibilitys out here to create pretty much everything.

    green greets to overseas! :)
  • Claudia van den Elsen-Westendorf Pieters

Exactly. That's my aim as well :-D
And there is still so much work to do!

About my photos. Yes of course you can use my photos, I'm honored. And know I've got many more photos.
So let me know what you are looking for. ...you'll never know.
And I understand I need to become a member of Ecopaparazzi then :-))))
I'd love too. Maybe we can start rocking the boat here in Holland as well!

For now I must run. For the next 1,5 year I'll be in training to become a nature guide! I need to leave soon for my classes.
    Talk to you soon.

Like you, I'm also happy to have found you here on AoaND.

    Love and warm regards,
    Claudia.

Jeanette, you are doing such brilliant work. Thank you for being a voice for the bears. I really believe that together we can create a world where love prevails. I am sending much love to you and all who are uniting to stop this practice, and of course to the bears themselves and also, to the people who perpetrate these things against other creatures, because they can only do such things because they are so deeply out of alignment with their divine nature.... If we send hatred and anger to these people we just add to the negative forces of the world. So may we come together in love and in peace to build a brighter future for all the wonderful creatures of the Earth. Thank you again for being a bright light for the animals. Korani xx

    "A Friendship blessing"
    (John Donohue from “Anam Cara“)

May you be blessed with good friends
May you learn to be a good friend to yourself.
May you be able to journey to that place in your soul
Where there is great love, warmth .feeling and forgiveness
    May this change you
May it transfigure that which is negative, distant or cold in you
May you be brought into, the real passion, kinship and affinity of belonging.
    May you treasure your friends.
May you be good to them
And may you be there for them
May they bring you all the blessings, challenges, truth and light
That you need for your journey
    May you never be isolated
But may you always be in the gentle nest of belonging with your “soul friend”

    Hi Jeanette,
Thank you so much for your work. I've lived in CR on and off for the last 30+ years, and have seen it go from a paradise to what it is today. I'm humbled by, and I dare say somewhat envious of, all that you're doing, on the Osa Penninsula and elsewhere. Thank you again!

    Take care,
    Nancy
