Children of Kanjar Community in the Jhuggi near Sangam Park beside the Dargah/grave of Hazrat Syed Shah( Mamu-Bhanje)

This is a picture that shows how even after passing Right to Education as a fundamental rights some children are deprived of these righs. All children belonging to the Kanjar commuity living near the Dargah at Sangam Park, Delhi in the age group of 6-14 have not been able to get admission. Inder ( in red color clothes) in picture told me and David Emmanuel Hatier, an intern of IMEDA and Sewa that they could not get birth certificate and another boy Vijay said that admission was denied saying that Kanjars are not admitted in the school.
