I respect. love and honor Carlos Santana. He has been my hero since childhood. As a hobby musician and avid guitar player, I have clung to every note and every chord he played. Having our own band in school, we played nothing but Santana tunes. So imagine, how I felt when I came across this site. I thought to myself, "typical Carlos". Only he would have this spirit to put something like this together.

About myself

I have a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and work at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands. I am known to be inspirational and an innovator in my field. I strive for a better change and a better life for our generation and our children's generation. We owe it to them. I am an optimist and always look on the bright side. I am also visionary. I can see what works and what won't work in the future and try to steer things in the better direction.

What I expect from this site

I expect to find people, who share my views and who are willing to work towards Carlos' dreams. It is an opportune moment to set the scene and to bring Peace. We can do it together, by strongly believing in it. By being optimistic and by being positive. Smile, and the World will smile back. Look towards a bright future and the world will treat you the same way. Look for a cause in life and you will find reason to live, happy and content. We can do this together.

One thing seems to be shared by every member on this site. Everyone has put up a photo of themselves with a smile! This is so refreshing and so positive that I am sure to come across many positive members on AOAND!
