Where are you hiding You, In such a clever disguise

With all those hidden elements you’ve found

While killing this time in the space that you’re required.

 

And what have you allowed to be uncovered deep inside your soul

When you needed to be fed the truth you once found

And that has led you to what you know

 

This sacred spirit here in form

Is sometimes hard to see

And you can be quite uncomfortable

 when you discover it holds missing key

 

for it offers you the love you need

yet you would still punish those who see

past your clever disguise

and try to love you and set you free

 

you are a shell found in the sands of the shore

and this shell holds within it the mystery

what was in the shell is now long gone

so if you find it  and toss it back to the sea

 

And somewhere in the ocean of the Universe

There is a star that shines on me

And I look up and see it’s light

That once was here in me

 

And from this place on earth

To the hidden depths within

The disguise is not now needed

For you have become something else again

 

A shell, a star, a frequency,

The universal song

Sweet heart Don’t punish those who love you

For believing what they see.

 

Can you love a Spirit, Can’t you love the soul,

Can you love the form that’s here

And then so suddenly it’s gone

 

For we are still so humbled by the little we understand

Of all of life’s great mysteries

They are buried in the love that’s here hidden

 so deep in you and me
