Destination Known!

Beginning in late May 2009 and for roughly the next year I will be participating as an intern with an organization based in Africa. I received my first assignment today and will be living in a township outside of Cape Town called Kayamandi. I will be there for at least 3 months and possibly longer if the assignment is offering the learning experience that I am seeking. My intention is to develop my own organization that identifies a need in community development and then to be able to fund the project via a micro-finance structure. I will be specifically looking for community leaders who have an entrepreneurial spirit to better their lives but don't have the necessary means to do so. I certainly don't have it all figured out so if this is of interest to anyone and you would like to participate in brainstorming of how to make this all happen please let me know!
