The charge has been levelled against these times as apathetic and soulless.
I know there are rays of hope and a greater justification to do good deeds and live a meaningful life.
However, we are creatures ever drawn to laziness, emotional abandonment and lust (for all things).
Observe how even new born babies are brought into this world with their hands clenched and grabbing whereas a persons last movement before dying is to relinquish control by letting go of that grip.
Letting go is very much apart of what we can't appear to do.
We are always wanting, and much of this ambition is such a pointless exercise.
So, here's to letting go of something we know is distracting and stopping us achieving what is really important.
As soon as you release from material attachments, you get your life back and gain the world.
Shalom
