Great news from Kroger Cancer Day 2012.
Shoppers helped raise $56,262 back on October 10th. Kroger leaders are donating three-percent of all sales, that day to the American Cancer Society and to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
The total amount raised over 34-years is nearly $4.6 million!
Director of the Northeast Indiana American Cancer Society, Nick Johnson said, “The funds that we have raised are going towards providing services right here in northeast Indiana to help cancer patients and those struggling with breast cancer, as well as going towards cutting edge research."
Kroger and city leaders met Tuesday to say "thank you" to the community.
