We’d like to show the side of the world you don’t normally see on television.
It's that time again... Southwest Airlines is ready to announce the third set of ten deserving nonprofits to win 40 roundtrip tickets in the Showing LUV to our Communities for 40 Years contest.
Southwest Airlines is awarding a total of 1,600 nonprofit organizations whose work benefits the communities they serve. Nonprofit organizations focused on community initiatives that concentrate on education, diversity, military, environment, and families facing serious illness had the chance to share their compelling story, along with a photo, to explain how 40 roundtrip tickets would help them achieve their missions in the community.
The first two sets of ten winners were announced on July 28 and August 2. The final set of 10 winners will be announced on August 16.
Southwest Airlines is proud to recognize these organizations for their valuable contributions to their communities. This week's winners are:
Diveheart; Downer's Grove, IN
American Widow Project; San Marcos, TX
METROsquash; Chicago, IL
Hatcher Garden and Woodland Preserve, Inc.; Spartanburg, SC
Year Up; Boston, MA
The Institute for Progressive Leadership; Washington, DC
Toussaint Youth Villages; San Diego, CA
Dream Foundation; Santa Barbara, CA
The Love Alliance; Palm Bay, FL

Congratulations to this week's winning organizations! Read more about them and how they plan to use their 40 complimentary roundtrip tickets on the Nuts About Southwest Blog.
