Some way to love and get back to you

You let us wear your cross
So we may seek
The choice of resurrection
So we can be free

There so much to do

Can I accept this role and find a way to be
What would honor the soul’s decree

To pay a debt
And the ancient promise in deeds
To take this life you’ve offered me
