Last night I went to see the film "This Is It". My experience of it was not what I would call joyful. I have a deep appreciation for the spirit behind the flesh in all our lives. Michael was very ill inside, and it is clearly visible in this film, despite the excellent editing and choice of clips.
Despite the obvious tragic vibrations that run through the film, something else emerged, something of a gift. Michael sends us a message of love. A challenge to rise up to our own potential, not in the context of our professions or appearance, but in how we treat each other. He places the song, "Man in the Mirror" and his earth song, in the context of our immediate time frame. During one point in the film Michael reminds us that we have about 4 years to get this thing turned around, an obvious reference to 2012. He says we can't wait for governments or institutions, that we as individuals have the power to transform the world with love.
While Michael's soul is, clearly in pain, I observed the presence of angels within him. Coming through him and his work, offering us a feeling, a vibration that resonates in harmony with a future world filled with dignity, love and compassion.
I invite you to accept this gift....to remove all the materialist trappings and wrappings which our merchandise based society delivers art. I invite you to see beyond all that into a soulful place filled with hope and love of our commonality, our humanity. In this place.... in this time.... it is up to us to make the difference.
This Is It !
