Years ago I wrote the first general-audience book about the global warming crisis, and since then my activism to put the brakes on it has taken me from a 50-mile summer march across Vermont to this winter's international conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. A lot of TrueMajority members have joined in along the way, and I want thank you for that.
This Wednesday night, I hope you'll join me in a conversation about where we stand right now in that fight and what's next. At 8 p.m. eastern time I'll be taking your calls live online for a TrueMajority Web broadcast. Click here to RSVP and learn more:

The sad truth about last month's climate summit in Copenhagen is that it failed to produce a fair, ambitious or binding agreement to reduce greenhouse emissions. But we HAVE built a worldwide movement that altered both the tone and substance of these negotiations, and forced the world's superpowers to take notice. More than half the countries that came to Copenhagen DID back a greenhouse reduction target strong enough to make a difference.
We don't have the luxury of giving up. We need to muster all our passion, commitment and energy again. Please join me this Wednesday at 8 p.m. Eastern time at
http://www.truemajority.org/bookclub/ to keep the momentum.
THANKS.
