That is so cool! I remember some songs you aunt taught us at Miller Creek. One was about a little boat that could not navigate. My friends parents flew up from Mexico city and my friend made a huge fiesta and made me sing the song about 7 years ago. I no longer remember all the words but I do remember part of it.
Tell your aunt I am so thankful for the Spanish she did teach me because when I was in my early twenties when I thought I was moving to Brazil I traveled through Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean and down the Amazon to Rio. My grandfather was Eastern European but he was born in Brazil.

Hi Phillip,
Yes, good to talk! (regular way) Do you know someone named "Linda Lalli"??? She used to be his tour manager? And just moved here? A friend-of-a-friend on fb asked me to find her--- I tho't I'd ask you -- thanks! Nike
Last night I played Song of the Wind over and over again and ended up staying up way too late. I think I will play it again now. It is really a beautiful piece of music. Thank you for posting it on your page for the rest of us to listen to.
I listened to all of your music last night and love the Song of The Wind.
Somewhere in Heaven is nice too. Bill Graham came into a store I use to work in in Sausalito when I was in college and I thought he was a shop lifter until the other sales person told me who he was and then he plopped down $1000 for a shirt for the young woman with him. Back in those days $1000. was a heck of a lot of money. I saw Stevie Ray Vaughn perform at the North Sea Jazz festival in Holland. I had not heard of him before. He was the best musician there and I really enjoyed his performance and will always remember it.
Ask your aunt if she remembers Nick Lange or Romney Lange. Nick was my age and in my class and I moved in to their parents house for a while after my mom died. Everyone knew the Lange kids because their dad was the MC on the Dating Game.
I hope you aunt does not hate me because I was a good student but not at all very good at foreign languages even though I tried. My French teacher stopped calling on me in class because I was such an embarrassment.
I forget the school nurses name from Miller Creek but Sybil and I use to stay with her when the Guthrie's moved to Tahoe and she was really nice but died recently too. I think her name was Mrs. Sallady and she was friends with Sybil's mom. She rented an apartment in Terra Linda and then bought a cute cottage in San Anselmo.

You're so lucky to live in Santa Fe and know Carlos and Ottmar an other musicians. I think that Santa Fe is near enoght to San Francisco.
I hope I'll been able to come in Usa and visit California again ( i went in 1991 ) and New Mexico too.
Looking some video on you tube i find a beautiful video about Greg Rolie ( first Santana Band) in concert tha last year in Santa Fe.
very beautiful video and sound with his hammond organ.
Thank you for your friendship.
