Architects of a New Dawn

We’d like to show the side of the world you don’t normally see on television.

I think I know what forgiveness ISN'T but defining it...? Can it really be taught? I think we must become forgiveness and becoming forgiveness everything to do with finding one's inner truth.

What do you think?

Anybody wanna play?

Christmas Self-realization Especially around Family
December 25, 2009
Saturn is the planet of limitations. Today is gets tense with the Sun, which rules the human ego. This Christmas will be one of great self-realization. You have a chance to consider where your family has been and where it is going. Are you adding on?

Self-realizations today -
!.
Forgiveness means peace. Any anger in my heart hurts me even more than the person I am not forgiving. Sometimes with some people, I need to forgive "77x7!"

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven me. -Ephesians 4:32

I draw on God's Love within to Forgive and reduce my judgements to reduce my need to forgive.
As I forgive, I release negative energy that may manifest as resentment or anger. If I feel wronged or annoyed, I release the impulse to judge. The lines of communication remain open, and understanding flows freely. Relationships with family, friends and colleagues flourish when I act with compassion and easily forgive.
I exercise the same attitude toward myself. If I have erred, I learn from it and move on. I draw from the reservoir of God's love within me to give and receive forgiveness.

(alot of this is paraphrased from Unity's Daily Word)

Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven.

2. Love in Truth (as I wrote the other day)

I truly believe that the lack of love is responsible for most of the world's ills. And every loving act will ripple outward into dimensions beyond our knowing. Ultimately, we must love ourselves wholly... but until then. the love shown by others seems to help us along. Jeanne of CronetotheBone.ning.com

Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind. -1 Peter 3:8

So that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them. -John 17:26

With every loving thought we hold, every kind word we express, we contribute to a world at peace.

"Let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth." -1John 3:18

God's love expresses through me to bless others.

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God: everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. -1 John 4:7

Again, Have Joyous Holy Days and a peaceful loving New Year! God is LOVE, ron
2. Ho'oponopono: I Love You, I'm Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You

I have found Ho'oponopono very effective - visualize yourself and your "enemy" at the same time as we are all One anyway.

I think Forgiveness comes in different stages---and I'm not sure it can be "taught." Rather, I suppose it can be modeled. For me, the beginnings of realizing what not forgiving was doing to me---was the impetus to take my thoughts further. When I began to take in the impact of holding onto that energy, internalizing it, and how it permeated so many other aspects of my life, a number of aha moments began to follow. Choosing, and understanding that I could choose, NOT to hold onto whatever it was, meant freedom---then peace.
Great answer, AkashikWreckage. I absoutely agree. So what were the steps you took to move beyond thought process? How did you internalize forgiveness so that you became forgiveness?

I have read that forgiveness is the 'key to the kingdom'. I have been forgiven by the one who means the most to me, now I must learn to forgive. This is a hard because everytime I'm around this person my resentment is present in my body.
Lynne Adele, I hear you loud and clear. And you definitely don't want to allow that resentment to remain present in your body; it is a killer. I suggest that you investigate Ho'oponopono. Ron Alexander sent this information in a previous comment and I have used it, also, and find it quite effective. My most recent personal discovery is that the way love feels is addictive. Most of us know that the way it feels to fall in love is addictive. But this is different although no less sublime.

(I believe it is because, if left to its own devices, the body knows and will choose what is best for it).

I am experiencing this addiction now. For example, just now a thought of my sister popped into my head. I am sure she makes the sign of the cross everytime I am within 10 miles of her! And the separation between us has caused me great pain and often angered me as well because she will not sit down with me and talk to me about it. Consequently, we cannot move on together as sisters.

So, realizing that I cannot control anyone's behavior but my own, I have been using Ho'oponopono everytime my anger has emerged. And I have also asked G-d to help me become forgiveness. And one other thing I do: I attach the end of an umbillicus-like cord to my heart and the other end to my sister's heart. I inhale the golden-white healing light of Christ through the crown of my head and into my heart and I exhale into the cord and send the Christ light along the cord and into her heart. And I repeat this until I feel the love because I am doing this for my own benefit and health as I stilll cannot control her.

If my intent is to let the feelings/issue/conflict go and move on, then when I have finished sending the Christ Light, I say a blessing, cut the cord, and let it go. And if I find the source of conflict keeps coming back at me, I simply "wash, rinse and repeat".

"And now for the REST of the story":

HERE is the miracle: I have been using these practices a lot during the holidays :-) And this morning she popped into my mind again and as I automatically inhaled the love and light of Christ (or Jeshua as I prefer to call him) I was reminded of how love actually feels and I instantly heard my mind say, "I like the way this feels soooooo much better than anger or resentment. I choose love and forgiveness."

Now please bear in mind that what I have described here is the end result of a process. You will continue to feel the "icky" feelings when you first implement these practices. But as with everything else that is worth achieving, "practice makes perfect!"

Forgiveness is liberation. Freeing self from holding pain and resentment and retaliation energy and freeing the offender from the burden of carrying guilt. It allows us to move into heart synergy (all life shares one heart), galactic awareness (liberation from the illusory grips of duality) and cosmic citizenship (entering the dimension of co-creatorship).

Forgiveness is a vehicle of transformation on the highway of love, acceptance and recognition of being an eternal spark of All That Is. One of the ultimate joys is the moment of knowingness = I am That I am.

My cells know: We are eternal beings, here to create and experience All that Is becoming and morphing.
Forgiveness is the only way to get on with it - Eventually, all will forgive and all will be forgiven.

This has come to me in the last decade and it took a lot of pain out of me.
Forgiveness is one of the vital keys, some are ready to embrace it now - others will take a while longer.

Blissings to all!

Dear Lynne, oh I know that feeling of still carrying resentment in the body, believe me, it is o.k. as long as your heart is aligned with the will to forgive, it shall come to pass, the body just holds residue a bit longer. When you have cleared all resentment, your eyes will shine and rejoice in being able to let that loved one go on their path with peace in their vessel as well as yours. Our bodies are our ultimate friends, trust it and give it some time. This has been my experience and in essence we are of the same heart. Aho!
Beautifully stated Ajumaaree. Thank you and Namaste.
