I love horses! I walked them when I was in college, as a part-time job in Santa Barbara. There is no other creature like them. I saw a mare give the world a foal a long time ago around 3am. Ever seen a grown man cry? No better, kinder or gentler creature, (except the ones that bite) but I love horses!

For anyone who has not already found these books:
"The Tao of Equus" and "Riding between the Worlds" by Linda Kohanov
are truly transformational, enlightening new perspectives on healing, living authentically and community. Horse teaches us to be more authentic with
our feelings, even when we are unaware of what they are. Peace, Elaine

Here is another Horse painting. This one was inspired by the Bach Flower Essence, "Wild Oat". Seems to be a transformation process of coming into personal power. Why is it that it is usually young girls that have obession with horses. Could it be the power we have that is so often overlooked?

Have always LOVED horses! I had an "imaginary" horse when I was a kid too. Her name was "Magic". I do believe that she was a Guide and Guardian.

Most kids have imaginary playmates. When I was little mine were all horses. I had a herd that lived in my closet and one or more of them accompanied me everywhere I went. They were my guardians, my spirit guides.

Beautiful concept for a group... When I was little, I was always sure that my horse somehow could understand me. Now I'm big, and I've learned some things, and I'm SURE my horse and I really DID understand each other... I just didn't know about non-verbal/energetic communication back then. I hope someday soon I'll get back to horsing around... for now, I'm thrilled about this group! Much love, Nancy
