Comment by Pierre on February 6, 2009 at 12:14pm: well,this weekend when I took the photo I was not on fire duty, so I enjoyed the opportunity. But other times, this use to make me very nervous for potential fires, and long and hard work for at least the following week. After my change of job end of 2006, I can now truly enjoy summers and the elements that go with it.

Comment by Jeanette McDermott on February 5, 2009 at 10:57pm: It's been over a years since I've seen lightning. I have always been a fan of heat lightning in the summertime. But in Central America we just don't seem to get it. Seeing your photo makes me remember how much I actually enjoy stormy and heat-seeking skies, and I wouldn't mind hearing a thunder roar and crack of lightning every now and then.
