Knees

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with a very old friend in Seattle. She and I are both growing older. This seems to happen to all of us unless we die young. :( Naturally the subject of knees came up (being that we are old farts). Laura said, "I think knees were designed on a friday late in the afternoon. They make no sense. They are little sticks held together by rubber bands. Of course they don't last. They aren't meant to." Laura is a very funny lady.

My Contributions

You folks seem to have the peace, love, arts, etc well covered. I guess I will have to add a bit of humor by sharing some of the things I see, hear, do and say. Have a little chuckle on me.

The other day I was at the YMCA in the hot tub after my workout. A young lady had her little girl, about 3 or 4 years old, in the pool. The little kid was having the time of her life but she repeatedly emitted a shrill screech that I am certain would rival those crazy crowd control thingys. I… Continue

Hi, Jennifer: Yes, this is a nice place. Some of my friends at Sodahead.com invited me as we now spend much less time there. We basically were there to spread truthinstead of lies. It can be very tiring. As I, as of today, am on a dayshift, I will not be in chat at all during the show, but I plan to buy Thom's podcasts. Marian Degado turned so many against Sodahead saying anyone who goes there supports Nazis. he is a bit extreme and has almost always kept me on ignore. No matter, even men who think they know it all can be helped! :o) Yes, I did read the Moore tickets and we'll have to go very early as they are first come, first served. In any case, just check in as you have the time. What else can ya do? Peace to you. Jane (Poet)

Also, I can introduce you to some very good folks that I know here if you wish. I am also at Facebook and some of the chat room are there, too. jewels, soosz, jonakron, Dave10101, Bill Smee (captain crusty), kabennet, and a few others if you are interested. I use FB for networking, same with Sodahead.com. I am trying to integrate the peace through networking. I was so ticked that my work schedule was in transition and I waited too long to try to get tickets for the Ron Reagan cruise yesterday. They were sold out. I did get some tickets for the free screening of the Michael Moore movie this coming Wednesday at Pacific Place in downtown. 1 ticket admits 2. We got 3 tickets. Welcome, J

Welcome and now we got a good place going on here. I am being very careful as to who I invite here. Our facebook gotinvaded by a few righties from Sodahead and the group leader made that group now private. I am and choose to be a peacemaker so very little gets me riled up anymore. I am happy you are here. I think you offer valuable input and are a peaceful one. With thoughts, Jane
