Terrible, upsetting letter to me from Mcdermitt.

Before I remove myself from this web site. that I had been enjoying, I would like to thank those that kindly wrote to me, and made my day.
I have now been totally insulted and disturbed by ignorant comments by someone, insulting me and my love of animals and my work in Africa.
I dont need to be exposed to this kind of person in my life.
Thank you All. Namaste. Veda.

Veda, I'm an animal lover too and I have also been insulted and criticized. Those people don't understand that we are one with all living creatures.
Let me know if you are still on this site...
Blessings and keep up the good work.

Veda, if go to my profile page and open the documents on the work I do, you will see that much of my work revolves around underserved youth, including children and their families living inside Central America's largest waste landfill.

I will hold you in my prayers.

Marc has great insight. We must remain positive in our thoughts and see the possibilties in each other. We are both students and teachers in this world and we can learn so much from each other. It is a simple misunderstanding.

Veda

Your work is vital to our vision. You show love and soul. Never let the words of another take away your bliss. You bring joy and love, continue and move forward.

I would like to offer Veda and Jeanette an opportunity to start over, to try and understand the nature of their misunderstanding. This community is going to have more misunderstandings, and quitting the site is not going to teach any of us how to weave a new cooperation into the world.

Veda, please reconsider leaving,

Jeanette, please consider what you may be able to do to establish a connection with Veda based on the common love of animals you both still share.

I am shocked and frustrated that you wrote such a stupid letter to me. My greatest love in life is animals, africa the peple and music.
How dare you make such a comment without knowing what you are talking about. Of cours they are not real. The chair is made out wood and so are the artificial tusks. If you looked at my pictures closely, you would have seen that I am a willife artist specializing in African animals and african culture.
If you are seeing any "body parts" you are truly loosing it.
Pleas do not ever contact me again. You have totally ruined my wonderful, beginning experience with this site.
What were you thinkg.????????? If my paintings look that real to you. Great. Many people buy my work because they love it and they know how connectedc to animals and Africa I am.

You should be evicted from this site for your rude, nasty comments to me. You have ruined my day and now I will evict myself from this site because you are the appitamy of all that is wrong in this world.

OMG, Veda, please tell me those are not real animal body parts I"m seeing in your photo titled Safari. Ivory tusks and a lion and elephant head. I'm shaken to the core. These are the issues I'm most involved in... illegal wildlife trafficking and trade, wildlife slaughter and habitat destruction. Wildlife species are going extinct at unprecedented rates and the poaching continues. Animals suffer and die mercilessly so people can have body parts strewn about their homes as "trophies" or symbols of something I've never understood. I"m praying right now, this moment, that what I see in your photo are art manifestations and not actual lion and elephant heads. I think I've had enough of Architects of a New Dawn for tonight. God Bless the animals of this world and may they one day find the peace we as humans seek daily.
