Yosimar, I am sorry we did not meet on 8-12-09 at SF Woodstock Party. I did meet 2 AOAND members there: Canadian Princess and her husband Wayne.
Perhaps our paths will cross soon at the Ceasr Chavez Tribute Concert in San Jose or the Portraits of Success Youth Conference in San Jose 9-18-09. I am participating in this project to mentor our Santa Clara County Latino teens. I know that you do the same. Let me know your website so that I might attend one of your presentations. I find your poetic voice healing and spiritual because you speak from the heart. Perhaps I can arrange to have you be a guest speaker at the local High Schools in SCUSD to present your ideas and book. Hearts and Hands Elders are Latino professionals in the state of California who promote the peace through their talents: music, art, live performance, inspirational speakers, grassroots activism, educators and other such mentors. Perhaps we can collaborate with you on California Peace Movement Project. We have Elders in southern California too who are connected to school administration and colleges and university professors. We could refer you to our network of Elders who mentor our youth.

Yosimar,great to meet you on this site. I read your poetry and is it very powerful in sentiment and passion. I think we have a common friend in San Jose her name is Esther Medina at CSUSJ. She works with the bridge students. Someone told me she knows your brother. Would you and some friends want to come to a Woodstock Press Party on 8-12-09? It is in San Francisco begins by 7:00PM come early to get parking. My husband Benjamin Hernandez has invited some Chicano talent to donate their time for the party. You may know some of them : Maxx Cabello Jr. ( from the east side of San Jose) Cole Fonseca from Visalia and Alex Reymundo a well known comedian . So I'll send you the press release.
