I Love Words

I love words. Words keep me sane, yet I see how I have placed limitations upon myself depending on my perception around the meaning of a word. My perception of peace may be different than yours, and if I remain stuck in my perception I may miss an opportunity to expand my vision of peace within myself. It has been a bit of a challenge at times to let go of my limiting perceptions – but worth it….

My Notebook

There is something about my notebook that I find comforting. The sound of my pencil scratching the words of my soul across the page brings me peace within. I fill it with the stories from my mind, happy, confusing, painful at times, but it doesn’t matter, there are no limits on what I can share within the sacred pages of this book.

Thinking about Love... again..

I think about Love – a lot. In fact I’m sure some people wish I would think or talk about something else for awhile. I am trying to change my perception around this word, from what I believe it “should” mean, into knowing it can mean what I choose it to.



Do I limit my potential to love by categorizing it? I believe I do. I mean, if I love you like I love my mom, sisters, dog or iguana, how do I choose who goes into which category? What traits do you have to have before you are worthy… Continue

Today I smile...

Today I think of those around me with a smile in my heart. At times it is hard stepping back, watching and allowing those I love and cherish to walk in pain and sadness. I would like to take it away from them and store it in my back pocket, yet I understand I cannot. I realize that the experiences are for their highest and greatest good, and no matter what that experience is, it is an opportunity for them to learn from if they so choose.
