The Door to God

 

There is a doorway to God

And it is there within our Soul..

There is an Entrance to the Path

With everyone we know.

There is such kindness and such love,

Amidst the Hatred and the pain.

There is a reason from above

That will allow your hope to remain.

You can open up the doorway,

And find the light inside.

You can find that God is with you

And in Spirit does abide.

If we could only see it,

With every breath we take,

The life, the truth is alive,

In everything we do.

You wonder how such a gift can be,

And if you’re worthy to receive.

But if you could just believe it.

The answers would come to you.

Christ is waiting at the Doorway,

Just knock and you will find.

Call on Him and be forgiven,

And the greatest gift is there to find.

God is there within your heart and Soul,

And your soul’s eternal Light will shine,

the Love which is the door to God

Trust this and peace you’ll find.
