Within each of us exists a duality of female and male, the yin and the yang. When we adopt a paternal attitude, we radiate energy and vitality, a thirst to know the unknown, and a love of family. While the maternal is nurturing, the paternal is protective and expresses love through securing safety and creating a better life for our family, whether we see that family as our immediate, or our community, or Humanity.
