Knocked me on my head so, I flipped it upside down. The painting lost none of it's ascendency. I happily acquiesce. Rembrandt colors. You must work in great light, the way you work the light.

It reminds me of the Tree of life... as in the Kabbalistic teachings... and its truth, its divinity is flowing downward toward where we reside. The light from above flowing toward us. If you look at the Tree, the sephiroths are located in a similar pattern as the flow in your painting.
Thats my first impression of this beautiful piece... Jeanne
