Architects of a New Dawn

We’d like to show the side of the world you don’t normally see on television.

New Songs on my way home from a hard day at work

My Naivete

I think my naivete
Got lost somewhere along the way,
But something I recognized today
Gives me cause for dismay.
Because I feel somewhat cynical
About a lot of things.
I kinda wish that I could go back
To that innocent little girl
Who believed everything she was told
And felt like she was queen of the world.

Songs Just Pop Thru

Sometimes I feel like songs just pop thru
They just pop into my head.
It’s like they are waiting for permission
To come into the light,
And show themselves for who they truly are--
Messages to the ones alive on this star
To help them stay light,
And let their hearts take flight
To where we all are one.

Hi AW,
Whenever I am in the space to receive, they just come to me. I get the words and melody at the same time and write them in shorthand in my notebook. I feel very blest. Thank you for your comments.

I LOVE what pops into your head, Joy!
So interesting, I was going to ask you how your songs come to you.
Do you "feel" them coming?

And, to your first song, "My Naivete," I sometimes feel that way too...
Here's what I do:
I sit out on my terrace and allow my eyes to take in the birds, the breeze, the sky---then I close my eyes and imagine myself to the most peaceful place for me---the beach---and even sometimes, I allow that little girl to be at the beach, and then I send her chasing the waves and seagulls...
Wishing you beauty, peace and little girl wishes come true,
AW
