I've just been watching Carlos and the band performing in japan from videos taken during 1973.at that time, Carlos quit drugs, booze and sex?
Anyway, what he was indulging in at the time, apart from eastern philosophy was guitar playing, because although there were simply stunning patches of brilliance afterward, the man was a concentrated fireball of passion, skill, concentration and devotion to the cause.
The tone from his Les Paul into the Boogie was surreal, and the conviction he displays with that wonderful band will haunt me always.

Just came back from Mexico City from Vive la Luz Tour, your talent goes beyond anything this is my 4 tour, this time with my 18 year old son, who just could not believe the extraordinary human being you are,

The music from Carlos and all those who've helped him explore his unique talent have been quite a revelation to us.
If anything, his example has shown that yearning and belief can prompt all of us to focus upon destiny.
I truly believe all of us have singular abilities that, if focused upon, would help to contribute to others lives.
That's the key to AOAND.
As individual contributors, we are enabled, entitled and ennobled by our shared thoughts and actions.
The gel of well-meaning and known people such as Carlos helps to draw us to a cause to match our yearning of sharing the greater and more beautiful aspects of the human condition.

Hello Mr Santana,
Thankyou so much for the opportunity to conect with you and other people in this high vibrational and respectfull, Loving way. It feels like a very close and wonderfull Familly to me , I am very much looking forward to taking time and energy to get to know everyone here and interacting.
I was able to have the wonderfull opportunity to work for you and it was quite sureal as I became involved in entertainment industry 20 years ago in hope that I could some day be able to work for Santana, well the day came and 20 years flashed in front of me and it was all worth it , it was a highlight of my life and I feel proud that I was able to be there in my technical capacity , and my Heart capacity, I remember setting all the back line equipment up and feeling very emotional although my attention was very focussed on doing the best job I could possibly do.It was so special to my being and my Heart of a child to give back some energy to you the last time you came to Australia , I worked at the Brisbane entertainment centre as technical support , local crew for your stage technicians, I was sent for dinner and to my surprise all the band except you were there and I had a wonderfull ,fun ,sharing time with them, as I was leaving the green room I almost bumped into you coming around a corner, Natalie from Blue King Brown introduced us , it was all a very sureal experience for me as I became a technician 20 years ago so that in hope of one day I could give a little or lot back to you, in the greatest apreciation of how much you have been a guide and influence to me since I was a very small child ,dancing to your guitar and conga rythms on the radio, the first time I heard you the song was "see the Light , Let it shine , let it shine , down on me " and it did and has been ever since , that was the day I started awakening in 1972 , I was 7 then , I still remember the joy I felt and the freedom in my heart , I am so privaledged to be a member of Architects of a new dawn , I look forward to be able to see you in concert again soon and offer you my services as a dedicated and heartfull technician/tour assistant .I also look forward to meet all the wonderfull people on this awesome site and share our wisdom and insight with cellebration of all life on this beautifull Mother Earth .My deepest Heart felt gratitude and appreciation sincerely goes to you Sr Santana, Muchas gracias para todo, Luc , Amor y Vida,
