Given that the response I have gotten from the Pachamama Alliance is that the video was made 7 or more years ago and that the fellow who did the narration has been diagnosed with cancer and is "indisposed" right now, I suspect that the ONLY way we'll get the text at this point is for someone to transcribe it, which I have begun to do. :-)  THey are looking for old files but I think we'll get there faster doing it ourselves. :-)  By the way thanks for pointing up Ron's post a few days back...

I've never done this before, but I'm sure I can.

I usually have 140 Q.I.  :o)  , I speak a good Italian and I count on my brain.

I think it is important that Italians have these sorts of messages.

Most of discussions are based only on politics, money, fashon, and "everthing" that doesn't work.

Complaining, but never even think different, out of the scheme. Who does is off.

(eh? Yes, of course, I'm off, but I'm a webmaster so people accept me as a BIT "crazy" person)

People are totally missing the awareness that is taking place in US

and missing the meaning of being unique in the Universe.

I think it is time that new ideas come to their minds.

Translating the video will be just a  little thing, but I hope shall help some.

So, ready when you are. Let's make it and see if it gets right.

If yes, we can translate other videos.

Of course I'm a volunteer, I'd only like written that I translated it if this is possible.

First things first - LOL = Laughing Out Loud which can also be symbolized by :-0

Next, I would have no problem with you and I doing the voice over (there is a male narrator and a woman speaking too) but first we need to have the Italian script. :-)  They are trying to get these films done in a number of different languages but rely pretty much entirely on volunteers. Doing voice over for this one would take some fairly precise speaking to synchronize the flow of voice with the flow of action. I'll see what I can do for the English script tomorrow :-)

Yes, it is better you ask them, I know nobody there and they might say:

"Who ar-ya? Wadda'hell you wanna, cosa nostra è!"

I also thought (this is one of my worse faults) i can record it with my voice and send you the file (and the text too), bu-u-u-u-u-t you write I did it, eh?

(btw, I've never understood what is "LOL")

But don't I have to have the horse before that's a compelling deal?? :-) LOL!! Given that I have to listen to the entire thing (again) and type out the "screenplay", it seemed fair to me :-)  I can also check with the Pachamama Alliance folks and see if they still have the original script... or for that matter, YOU could check with them... but I know them better! :-) Such a deal!!

I'll give you the text back in Italian if you re-dubbed in Italian.
