As an open heart perioperative surgical nurse I have witnessed so many miracles.. When I am not doing open hearts I also have been involved in the miracle of life being brought into the world... My nursing career has not only been my career but a ministry of healing. I have realized that death is as natural as birth and we must live each day as it is our last day! Blessings, Peace and Good Health to all!

There are miracles we experience in our moments of need and there are miracles I have been part of, which benefited someone whom I did not even know who was in distress. We are NOT alone!

Moons and Junes and Ferris wheels
The dizzy dancing way you feel
As every fairy tale comes real
I've looked at love that way.

Morning has broken
Like the first morning.
Blackbird has spoken
Like the first bird.

Shower the people you love with love
Show them the way that you feel
Things are gonna work out fine if you only will.

Ponder the moment of conception as a human
Millions of sperm converging on that one egg
What are the probabilites that we actually came to be?
For if it where a different egg or sperm, we would not have come to be
Exactly as we are

Each day we breathe is indeed a miracle.
There is a built in ventilatory modulator for which there is very little control
A freedom arises
Yielding thought to those things which may be controlled

Each one of us, and every day is a miracle.

Best,
Mike

I appreciate Abbie's comment below and her work as a R.N. Nurses are usually wonderful people - doing most of the REAL work of healing in a hospital. When I was with my Mom at her last breath at 2AM on Christmas Eve. I was so blessed holding her hand, stroking her forehead and whispering eternal love (in "Everlasting arms...") verses in her ear. She passed with a simple quiet gasp.
Afterward, the respiratory therapist told me she was so grateful I was there when she pulled the oxygen tubes. She said that most relatives and beloved friends leave the room at that crucial time in someone's life, "and that the last breathes can be louder and more panicy."
Oh yeah, Abbie, the ICU nurses were angels on earth for Mom and all of us family and friends. Thanks for your service!

Having worked as an R.N. for years, I have experienced so many miracles in my life. Not just miracles in life, but in death - sensing a unique power all around me most of the time. It used to frighten me when I was a young girl, but I've come to accept it and trust it. I know that there is SO much more out there and am fairly certain (for myself, at least) that the answers may not be revealed until we pass. Perhaps not - I'm not sure. But what I AM sure of, is that miracles exist and happen every day!

When my Mother (she passed on Christmas eve a few months ago) was in ICU, I asked her to come back as an angel or send me angels. Since then, and after being shockingly left mostly out of her estate inheritance, People who do not know me have seen Archangel Michael and other angels around me. And I have had a wonderful ragrance that I have never smelled before somewhere off my right shoulder several times. See my new post on the main site. Do you believe and have had experiences with angels?
