T. N. Mohan has utilized his comprehensive knowledge, skills and experience of over thirty years in the field of film and television production to create over twenty multiple award winning productions in a career that spans four continents and more than twenty countries.
After making award-winning but politically controversial and socially-relevant films in his native India, Mr.Mohan emigrated to the United states where he began his career with the first documentary film on the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, AFGHANISTAN UNDER THE IRON CLAW.
For the next seventeen years, he served as the Director of International Co-productions for the Family Channel's NORTHSTAR ENTERTAINMENT, producing episodic series, MOWs, and primetime specials.
In 1993, Mr. Mohan started his own production company LATHIKA INTERNATIONAL FILM & ENTERTAINMENT INC. and partnered with Rome-based MEDIASHOW, producing almost a dozen feature films and over hundred hours of programming for major networks around the globe.
Mr. Mohan's award-winning films include the Templeton Foundation Peace Prize and International Emmy nominated biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, HANGED ON A TWISTED CROSS that won the Chris Award at the Columbus Film Festival,, the feature length documentary on the 16th century German reformer Martin Luther, HERE I STAND!, a film about POW exchange, FOR ONE ENGLISH OFFICER, a film on the on the rescue and recovery operations after the 9-11 tragedy, AFTER THE FALL, and the Bollywood film, THE GIFT based on a true story of a friendship between a ten-year-old rich child and a blind homeless man, a four-part series on Islam and Christianity, TRUTH TO TELL!, a six-part series on Poverty in America, THE 51ST STATE, and most recently, a biography on the most prolific English poet and hymnwriter Charles Wesley, A HEART SET FREE. Projects in production include a three-part series on the Environment.
Besides, currently developing a family drama, When Love Steps In, and a romantic comedy caper, Twelve Nights, Mr. Mohan is also seeking coproductions in any genre and on any location.
