On March 23rd the libraries around me will be giving away a free Oak tree, please see if you have that in your area and even if you have no place to plant it just ask around, someone will have room.
Here's a link in case you're in Hamilton County Ohio.
http://www.cincinnatilibrary.org/press/2012/Library_Free.Tree.pdf
So get a tree, plant a tree (then do the same as often as possible please) and try to make sure they are native to your area and PLEASE don't use tons of mulch, mulch should not touch the trunk, it hurts the trees in a few ways, .... do it more like Mother Nature, just pick a spot, plant it, and water if necessary also protect it from deer or lawnmowers and then know that 50 and 100 years from now you will have helped make sure there was a lot of clean air given, lots of birds and squirrels were made happy and generations of people had a wonderful tree to sit under. And of course the tree will thank you too, so get them, plant them and repeat.
Peace to All.

Comment by Alexander on April 16, 2011 at 4:37pm I know people should not use a site to promote other sites, but I think you and Carlos would agree with this exception!
It has an AOAND link badge on it's main page.
SaveNaturefree is a wonderful iSafeSite for nature. The link takes you to the FAQ tab. This free iSafeSite was foundered by me in 2002.
I am giving all the add revinue back to the members who join us. The wonderful offer is limited to 25 members at each neighbourhood where a SaveNature kiosk is established and maintained by the group.
Because advertisers in the area want exposure for their environmentally sustainable product or service, maintaining a kiosk becomes a walk in the park : ]
The whole idea is fully explained at the sites FAQ tab.
I hope that one day, SaveNaturefree may be one of the webs top ten sites helping to promote AOAND.
