New Dawn Architecture - Solutions for People & Planet

The industrial age is coming to an end, we have exhausted the ecological and environmental capacity upon which "value" in the industrial age is based. New solutions are needed, please share them here. View solutions for sustainability on the Peace Day Global Broadcast, highlighting means of achieving the Eight Millennium Development Goals and thereby Building Peace Through Sustainability.
The time is now, a new age is dawning, zodiac wise it's a transition to the age of Aquarius, trans-personally to a Spiritual Age, practically we might call it the Information Age.

Our challenges are to become more cooperative, conscious, and compassionate. By leveraging technology for the good we can create clean water, power, and food. We can use communications technology to share (and therefore better appreciate) the diversity of cultures on the planet.

Perhaps our most critical goal is a new & sustainable economic model to replace the industrial system with an Information Age economy capable of balancing ecology with economy. A system where "value" is based on human creativity and knowledge instead of natural resources. Where one can shoot a lion video instead of a lion for their skin, using the Internet and new economic models such as private community currency systems this can be achieved.

In the words of wired magazine: "If the Internet is going to become the engine of global commerce it's cracked up to be, it needs a currency it can call its own - a currency as non-proprietary and international as the Internet itself.” ~ one such model worth sharing is the Free Digital Universe, take a look, and let us know what you think, most importantly, share your own or others solutions. Through sustainability, may peace prevail on Earth.

The purpose and mission of Plan-it, Plant-it, Planet (P3) is to plant more trees with a conscious thought for peace by sponsoring educational tree-planting festivals and projects in conjunction with other Peace Partners.

Plan-It will focus on using the Peace Portal project network to identify solutions and partners that will implement reforestation, economic equality, education, and food security.Image

Plant-It is the implementation phase where we will introduce solutions connecting people with information and opportunities. Our flagship phase two Project, SAFE (Sustainable Alternative Farming Experience,) offers local communities a place to garden, learn, and grow trees. SAFE offers various educational classes on growing gardens, starting a greenhouse, and biodynamic agro-forestry practices, all while maintaining a focus on cultivating starts for a global Paulownia Megafolia-based Reforestation project.

Planet will integrate the various practices implemented in phase two: Plant-it, into a regional sustainability plan that can evolve into a global sustainability plan. Using educational tools, information age technologies, and developing renewable resources at local levels will allow us to build infrastructure neccessary to succeed in our major Planet Projects
