Everest of Wonder

I think it is no coincidence that the rate of UFO sightings have increased exponentially as we approached the ‘magic date’ of 2012. In so many ways, we are truly experiencing a unique point in history… yet, at the same time, we are following a pattern that is consistent throughout history. Of course every point in history is unique and marked by the myths that accompany it. This is not to dismiss every UFO sighting as myth without looking further into it but debating on whether they are real…See More

The disintegration of illusion (a portrait of Dali)

This painting is deliberately crude in application and is intended to contrast with what I hope appears to be a finely crafted portrait when viewed from a distance. As the viewer approaches, the 'illusion' of the portrait disintegrates into the reality of 1,178 crudely applied daubs of colour on a roughly painted…See More

Atheism

A while back (quite a while, actually) I read a post on some forum or other describing atheists as "devil-worshipers" and "evil".

Well, being an atheist who doesn't worship the devil either (I like to be even-handed) and I tend to be guided by what I feel is right, I simply had to respond. The subject of that response I include below but first, if only for its entertainment value, I'd like to share what happened next.

Within a week or so of posting my response, I… Continue

Take flight among the stars

We are bound only by our attachment to bonds. We are committed to our bonds not by those who would hold us to them but by our consent to do so.

We can choose to walk in chains and, in so doing, may be inclined to rage against the very chains to which we hold so tightly...

...or we may choose to take flight among the stars, where there is no destination for the flight itself is the goal.

The world in which we… Continue

Good to be here Ron, I just added two posts. I agree "Legalize Freedom" to be on par and feel, when all the groups unite with the architect's plan, it will be done...Craig

Not in the traditional sense...your question made me think, "How AM I an artist?" The answer I heard was that I help people paint a new, fresh picture of themselves and their lives in their minds-then I help them create the path to making that picture become a reality...I am a Transformational Coach.

HI Ron...well, let's see. I am an architect of the inner landscapes, a Picasso of the mind, a modern day arti'st...I help people move from ordinary to extraordinary - from great to spectacular - from doing work to living in passion. I offer others a way to find and express their radiant joy! Thank you for asking!!! Seeing you happy and laughing!!

Someone who makes wands told me that we should always ensure we have the tree's permission before removing a branch... we didn't do French at my school, let alone Tree! So I made a deal with the tree (which was overgrown with honeysuckle, slowly strangling it): in return for one small branch, I clear the whole tree of all the honeysuckle... a couple of hours work. I think I can safely assume the tree went for that.

So, if any pagans, witches or wizards want a wand with integrity, in order to maintain the integrity, this wand isn't for sale. If you want it, you have to do something wonderful for a complete stranger.

How kind, Ron, to give me a nudge. However, I haven't been shy or reticent for years. HA.

At the moment I don't have any artwork. I have some wonderful photos of beautiful scenery that were taken before the advent of digitization, but they're still packed at the moment. Perhaps one day soon, I can unpack them and photograph them with my digital camera, then, add them to the beautiful things in the Members Gallery. No recent poetry either. Spending too much time on the computer at work lately Thank you, by the way, for having such a good idea as this. Best wishes and lots of joyous laughter to you and yours!
