I love the humour in these, Jin! I particularly like the 'fishing' one. Thanks for posting these.

Thank you Sandy. The whole atmosphere here is the nearest thing to being there. Beautiful and with wonderfully confident strokes. I can't believe this is the only thing you've painted so, come on... let's see some more.

"Galaxy" somehow reminds me of Monet... I think it's the colours used. There's also a hint of Jackson Pollack in there too :o) I really like "5D". The 'combing' seems to add another dimension. Now this is just a hunch... call it ESP... but I'm g...

Atheism

A while back (quite a while, actually) I read a post on some forum or other describing atheists as "devil-worshipers" and "evil".

Well, being an atheist who doesn't worship the devil either (I like to be even-handed) and I tend to be guided by what I feel is right, I simply had to respond. The subject of that response I include below but first, if only for its entertainment value, I'd like to share what happened next.

Within a week or so of posting my response, I began to receive unsoli… Continue

Take flight among the stars

We are bound only by our attachment to bonds. We are committed to our bonds not by those who would hold us to them but by our consent to do so.

We can choose to walk in chains and, in so doing, may be inclined to rage against the very chains to which we hold so tightly...

...or we may choose to take flight among the stars, where there is no destination for the flight itself is the goal.

The world in whic… Continue

Not in the traditional sense...your question made me think, "How AM I an artist?" The answer I heard was that I help people paint a new, fresh picture of themselves and their lives in their minds-then I help them create the path to making that picture become a reality...I am a Transformational Coach.

HI Ron...well, let's see. I am an architect of the inner landscapes, a Picasso of the mind, a modern day arti'st...I help people move from ordinary to extraordinary - from great to spectacular - from doing work to living in passion. I offer others a way to find and express their radiant joy! Thank you for asking!!! Seeing you happy and laughing!!

Aloha Ron,
I do have one extra room for guests. Are you in Hawaii or planning to visit here soon?

Someone who makes wands told me that we should always ensure we have the tree's permission before removing a branch... we didn't do French at my school, let alone Tree! So I made a deal with the tree (which was overgrown with honeysuckle, slowly strangling it): in return for one small branch, I clear the whole tree of all the honeysuckle... a couple of hours work. I think I can safely assume the tree went for that.

So, if any pagans, witches or wizards want a wand with integrity, in order to maintain the integrity, this wand isn't for sale. If you want it, you have to do something wonderful for a complete stranger.

How kind, Ron, to give me a nudge. However, I haven't been shy or reticent for years. HA.

At the moment I don't have any artwork. I have some wonderful photos of beautiful scenery that were taken before the advent of digitization, but they're still packed at the moment. Perhaps one day soon, I can unpack them and photograph them with my digital camera, then, add them to the beautiful things in the Members Gallery. No recent poetry either. Spending too much time on the computer at work lately Thank you, by the way, for having such a good idea as this. Best wishes and lots of joyous laughter to you and yours!

This is a friendship Bear and poem just for you because I know how much you love them.

You, you’re my best mate…
…In every way…
…so there’s something…
…no, listen…
…that I have to say…
…I don’t mean this in a gay way…
…I’m just gonna say it straight…
…No, listen, right…
…You, you’re beautiful…
…I f*@kin love you, mate!

as previously noted, artofliving.com is waaaaaaaay out of date, there is actually a sort-a-kind-a "volunteer" possibility on the Participate page, though I'm not at all getting that very many people go there except Indian people who don't speak very good english, looking for their guru Sri Sri who has .org - am about to seek some consult re which of everything is non-profit and which is for-profit, update the Coalition aspect, and begin a new newsletter for play-by-plays - curious to know how familiar you may or may not be with "sacred geometry" and if you've had a read of the Circles Uniting one-sheet on my blog - the notion is to redirect attention to "we are connected" from the odd perception that we're "separate" needing to get to...

yes, I realized I'd left the shire out, how dare I, when it is the very place you live - have spent considerable time in the UK, starting with a semester abroad in College, including working for a British entertainment PR firm through David Puttnam who I was representing, last round from Glastonbury to Tintagel and south, yet to go north, perhaps the next round, my Slater lineage is from Congleton, imagine lots of my other veins are from all around (am about 5/8 Brit) - blessings, Frankie Lee

oh, yes, here's my ps. - first, I realize the word I was going for was "lest" versus "less" - curious words

wow, how tremendously fanciful and fun your art is, particularly responded to the eagle coming out of the earth and moon above and photo of the moon through the trees - am a bit of a moon gal myself - and the piece directly before the ocean shots - let me know if you might be inclined to collaborate to create a Circles Uniting logo - I've been seeing sacred geometry made up of the peoples of the world - we could connect on skype if you feel to - seems to work to communicate through e-mail first - mine is: liveart@artofliving.com - then turn skype on once scheduled - my id is: frankieleeslater
